Chapter 43 - Chapter 42: Lucky Week

That morning,

The boys' dormitory woke up unusually early—Probably because of yesterday's rumors.

Little Neville had been acting strangely since he got up.Because last night,Just before going to bed,Harry had given him a knowing smile.

And now,That smile was haunting Neville's thoughts.

Breakfast in the Great Hall

As Harry ate,He kept staring at Hermione,His eyes full of admiration.

Merlin was right—When you're eating with a beautiful view, your appetite improves.

(For reference, Merlin's original words were:"When camping, if you're surrounded by beautiful scenery, even the simplest food will taste delicious.")

But Harry shamelessly twisted the meaning,Thinking, If Merlin were here, he'd definitely agree with me!

(Meanwhile, somewhere far away, Merlin was vomiting blood…)

Hermione, on the other hand,Was struggling under Harry's intense gaze.

Seriously...Why didn't I just sit somewhere else? The Great Hall is huge...

Rolling her eyes, she finally snapped—"Harry, have you stared enough?"

Harry grinned."Of course not—""Even a lifetime wouldn't be enough."

Seeing Hermione's flustered expression,Harry chuckled to himself.

Teasing little schoolgirls was just too much fun!

The Plan Begins

After a while, Hermione changed the subject—"So, when are you planning to start your plan?"

"Why wait? Of course, today!"

"But… have you even discussed it with the professors yet?"

"Nope. But I will—soon enough."

Hermione sighed."You told me about this plan days ago, and yet you're only acting now?"

"Are you really so sure the professors will agree?"

"It's not like I'm breaking any school rules.""It's just a small thing."

"Besides, they'll see I'm doing it for a good cause.""They won't say no."

"But… will this really work?"

Harry's expression grew serious—"Neville is timid, socially awkward, and lacks confidence."

"This is the only way to help him become braver."

"Of course, it won't completely change him overnight.""But at the very least—""It'll plant a seed inside him, one that will slowly grow."

"Actually, even without this plan, I believe Neville will become a great wizard one day."

"All I'm doing is helping him get there a little faster."

Hermione stared at Harry."You really think so?"

Harry smiled and nodded.

After all—When everyone thought he was dead,It was Neville who stood up to Voldemort.

And in the end,It was Neville who drew the Sword of GryffindorAnd slayed Nagini!

Convincing Professor Flitwick

Harry first went to Charms class to find Professor Flitwick.

After explaining his plan,Flitwick looked thrilled—

"To think I could be of service to the great Savior Harry Potter!""What an honor!"

Harry's face darkened.

He had prepared an entire speech to convince the professor—But apparently, he hadn't needed it at all.

The Charms Class Incident

That day,Something strange happened during Charms class.

Professor Flitwick asked Neville a question,And Neville, as usual,Stammered nervously, fumbling with his words.

No one was surprised—Neville was always like that when called on.

Draco snorted,Smirking at Neville's familiar awkwardness.

But then—Something unexpected happened.

Professor Flitwick,Looking as if he'd just won a million Galleons,Shouted excitedly—

"Mr. Longbottom has made great progress compared to last time!""So, I'm awarding Gryffindor 10 points!"

The class burst into whispers.Everyone was confused.

"Since when do you get points just for improving?"

Harry and Hermione exchanged glances,Then both lowered their heads in embarrassment.

If you're going to give points...At least come up with a better excuse!

Professor Flitwick raised his eyebrows—"Now, let's all give Mr. Longbottom a round of applause!"

He clapped enthusiastically.

The students looked at one another, bewildered,But eventually joined in.

The Gryffindor students, of course,Didn't care about the reason—As long as they gained House points, it was a win.

Draco, on the other hand,Slammed his book onto the desk in frustration,Glaring at one of his own Slytherin classmatesWho had absentmindedly joined in the clapping.

Meanwhile,Professor Flitwick subtly glanced at Harry,As if expecting praise.

Harry, however,Pretended not to notice.
