Chapter 57 - Chapter 57

Two armored figures clashed on the highway of New York. One is Tony Stark in his Mark III suit, and the other is Obadiah Stane's hulking Iron Monger. Stane had stolen the arc reactor right from Tony's chest, leaving him to perish. If it hadn't been for Rhodey coming to his aid, he'd have been done for.

Tony felt betrayed - Stane had been a friend and mentor for years, and now he realized it was Stane who'd orchestrated his kidnapping by the Ten Rings. The realization stung, but Tony pushed on, determined to stop this madness.

Tony Stark watches as the massive, bulky figure of Iron Monger emerges from the wreckage of the Stark facility. The suit's silver-gray armor gleams in the sunlight, its exposed hydraulics and machinery giving it an ominous, mechanical appearance.

The Iron Monger stomps forward, its heavy footsteps shaking the ground. Tony, still in his Mark III Iron Man suit, braces himself as the two titans clash. Iron Monger swings its powerful fists, each blow carrying the weight of tons of metal and power behind it. Tony darts and weaves, his suit's agility allowing him to evade the attacks, but the sheer force of the Iron Monger's strikes sends him reeling.

The battle spills out onto the highway, cars swerving to avoid the titanic struggle. Tony fires repulsor blasts, but they seem to have little effect on the Iron Monger's thick armor. He tries to gain altitude, but the Iron Monger's shoulder-mounted missile launchers track him, forcing him to dart and dodge.

"C'mon, Stane, is that the best you've got?" Tony taunts, his voice laced with bravado, even as he struggles to find an opening.

Tony grits his teeth as Obadiah Stane's massive Iron Monger suit grabs him, the metal fingers closing around his armor.

"You really think you can stop me, Tony?" Stane taunts, his voice dripping with contempt. "This company, this suit - it was always meant to be mine."

With a bone-crushing grip, Stane hurls Tony to the ground, the impact cracking the pavement. Before Tony can react, the Iron Monger stomps down, the sheer weight of the suit bearing down on him.

Tony cries out in pain as he feels the metal pressing against his suit, the systems flickering and warning lights blaring. He struggles to free himself, his repulsors firing erratically, but Stane's onslaught is relentless.

"You were always a thorn in my side, Tony," Stane growls. "Now it's time to put an end to this."

Summoning every ounce of strength, Tony lashes out, his fists pounding against the Iron Monger's leg. He knows he's outmatched, but he refuses to go down without a fight. The two titans trade blows, the thunderous impacts shaking the very ground beneath them.

Tony grits his teeth as Obadiah Stane's massive Iron Monger suit bears down on him. He can feel the metal pressing against his armor, the systems flickering and warning lights blaring.

"Jarvis, fire the chest repulsor!" Tony yells, summoning every ounce of strength.

The repulsor blast erupts from his suit, forcing Stane's foot off of him. Tony doesn't waste a moment.

"Jarvis, take me to the highest altitude, now!" he commands.

"Sir, the suit's power is at 15%. The odds of reaching that—" Jarvis warns.

"I know the math, Jarvis. Just do it!" Tony barks, ignoring the risk.

The suit's thrusters roar to life, propelling Tony upward at breakneck speed.

Stane's Iron Monger suit activates its own propulsion system, slowly ascending into the air as it gives chase to the fleeing Tony Stark. The massive, bulky frame of the Iron Monger lumbers upward, its heavy footsteps shaking the ground below. Stane's voice booms through the suit's external speakers, a twisted grin on his face as he pursues his former protégé.

"You can't escape me, Tony!" Stane roars, the Iron Monger's missiles primed and ready to fire. "This company, this legacy - it all belongs to me!"

Tony's heart pounds as he watches the Iron Monger suit slowly ascend, chasing after him. He grits his teeth, pushing his suit's thrusters to the limit, desperate to gain some distance.

"Jarvis, how much power do we have left?" he asks, his voice strained.

"Power levels are down to 13%, sir," the AI responds calmly. "I would advise against continuing to climb at this altitude."

"Just leave it on the screen, Jarvis," Tony snaps. "No more warnings."

He can feel the Iron Monger's presence behind him, the hulking suit closing in. Stane's voice booms through the speakers, dripping with arrogance.

"You can't escape me, Tony. This suit is far more advanced than your little toy."

Tony sneers, his mind racing. "Oh, really? Did you happen to solve the icing problem?"

"Icing problem?" Stane echoes, confusion evident in his tone.

Tony feels a surge of triumph as he watches the Iron Monger's movements slow, the metal joints freezing up. Stane's curses fill the air as his suit's systems begin to shut down.

"Look into that, Obadiah," Tony says, giving the Iron Monger's chest a light, almost mocking tap.

The sudden loss of power sends the Iron Monger plummeting, Stane's screams fading as he free-falls. Tony watches for a moment, his expression grim, before turning his attention back to his own suit.

Tony's heart races as Jarvis reports the suit's power levels dropping rapidly. "Two percent, sir," the AI announces calmly.

"Damn it," Tony mutters, feeling the suit's propulsion system start to fail. He braces himself as the suit's power switches to the backup supply, the repulsors firing erratically to control his descent.

With a heavy thud, Tony's suit hits the ground, the armor's outer shell cracked and dented. He takes a moment to catch his breath, surveying the damage. "How bad is it, Jarvis?"

"The suit is nearly depleted, sir," Jarvis replies. "Structural integrity is compromised, and the power cells are at critical levels."

Tony nods, his gaze fixed on the battered armor. "Get me out of this thing. I can't afford to be stuck in a dead suit right now."

Tony Stark grimaced as he stumbled out of his damaged Iron Man suit, the power cells nearly depleted. He had barely evaded Obadiah Stane's pursuit, but the respite was short-lived.

Stane's hulking Iron Monger suit landed behind Tony with a resounding thud. "Nice try, Tony!" the older man bellowed, his voice distorted by the suit's speakers.

Stane took a swipe at Tony, who narrowly dodged the attack. With his suit's capabilities diminished, Tony's options were limited. Stane seized the opportunity, lunging forward and enveloping Tony in a crushing bear hug.

"Jarvis, weapons status?!"

"Most of the suit's weapons systems are offline, sir," Jarvis reported. "The repulsors and missiles are no longer functional."

Tony's mind raced, searching for a way to break free. "Flares!" he commanded.

The suit's flares burst to life, spewing thick smoke that obscured Stane's vision. The distraction caused the Iron Monger to loosen its grip, and Tony seized the opportunity to slip away, disappearing into the smoky haze.

Stane's heavy footsteps echoed through the empty factory as he scanned the smoke-filled air. "Very clever, Tony. But you can't hide for long," he bellowed, his voice distorted by the Iron Monger's speakers.

Tony crouched behind a stack of crates, his mind racing to find a way to stop Stane. He knew he couldn't outrun the hulking suit in his depleted armor.

"Come on out, Tony," Stane taunted. "I promise I'll make it quick." His gaze suddenly fell upon a familiar figure in the distance. "Since you don't want to come out, I'll just have to deal with Ms. Potts."

Pepper's eyes widened in terror as the Iron Monger suit lumbered towards her. "Pepper!" Tony yelled, abandoning his hiding spot and sprinting towards her. He had to stop Stane before he could harm the woman he cared for.

Tony grabbed Pepper and pulled her out of the way just as Stane's massive fist came crashing down. "Run, Pepper!" he yelled, shoving her towards safety.

Turning to face the hulking Iron Monger suit, Tony knew his options were limited. With his weapons systems offline, he would have to rely on close-quarters combat. He rushed forward, dodging Stane's swinging arms and landing a few solid blows, but the Iron Monger's superior strength and size quickly overwhelmed him.

Stane's metal fist slammed into Tony's chest, sending him flying backwards. He crashed to the ground, the impact cracking his suit's armor. Struggling to his feet, Tony braced himself as Stane advanced, each step shaking the ground.

"You never could beat me, Tony," Stane taunted, his distorted voice echoing through the cavernous space. "This suit makes me unstoppable."

Tony gritted his teeth, his mind racing to find a way to turn the tide. But with his suit's systems failing, he knew he was outmatched. Stane's massive hand closed around him, the Iron Monger's crushing grip making it hard for Tony to breathe.

Stane's massive hand closed around Tony, the Iron Monger's crushing grip making it hard for him to breathe. But just as the villain was about to deliver the final blow, the roar of a motorcycle engine pierced the air. A blur of red and black crashed into Stane, causing him to release his grip on Tony.

As Stane stumbled back, a figure in a sleek, armored suit landed between them. "Need a hand, Stark?" Kamen Rider in his Mighty Form asked, his voice calm and confident.
