The weather was clearer than yesterday, but the wind still whispered its secrets to the world. The trees, stripped bare of petals, rustled softly as though shivering under the morning breeze. Above, the sun peeked through a scatter of soft white clouds, casting a gentle golden glow across the dew-laced grass. The light burned away the remnants of dawn.
Sharp, polished black shoes clicked against the immaculate black marble floor. Each step echoed through the lobby like a countdown. President Bruce walked into one of the most popular companies in the country with ease.
The very company that every paparazzi, journalist, and fan wanted to enter—but could only admire from the outside.
Outside, people would give anything to glimpse the inside of this building. Fans lined the sidewalk hoping for photos, journalists lingered at the gates praying for leads, and rival companies burned with envy. Yet now, the one man everyone feared was walking through its doors unannounced.
