When he pulled away, I thought he was going to kiss me but he didn't. He simply distanced himself and kept eyeing me like he didn't want to let go.
"By companion I'm sure you know what I mean," he said and I nodded but something came to mind.
"But can we keep it a secret?"
At my request, he remained quiet and I could tell he was already against it.
"When something is done in secret between two opposite genders, it is tagged as immoral. Do you want to go down that lane?"
At his question, I gave it a thought before responding.
"It depends on what we're doing in secret, my lord."
For a moment he remained calm but not taken aback by my confrontation. Something in me couldn't help but think we would do naughty things together and I somehow wanted to cringe at that thought but it felt reasonable enough but at the same time it didn't seem that way.
