Chapter 6: Defense of city altar 3
Ash and Evan are ready to attack monsters.
At this moment,
Ash sees rabbit monsters' eyes are red like blood and their speed is increasing after seeing him and Evan.
And Ash sees these monsters are coming fast, as if they are their lifelong enemies, and monsters come here because they wanted to kill them for revenge.
At this moment, Ash feels some fear but he takes a deep breath and he looks at his low-grade gun and aims to directly kill level 1 rabbit monster first, after that taking care of other monsters.
Ash prepared the plan how to handle this monster safely and better take care of his and companion's safety in his mind.
In this plan, first monster will get trapped in spike pit and killed by wood spike, after that they will kill level 1 monster with gun, after that they will kill level 0 rabbit monsters i.e. they first focused to kill level 1 monster, after they focus on other monsters.
Now Ash is thinking in his mind "I will definitely survive this monsters' attack and I will kill these monsters without a doubt."
He is seeing,
"Rabbit monster is near pit traps and monsters are suddenly under soil and three level 0 rabbit monsters stabbed into wooden spike and died but four level 0 rabbit monsters are injured because of trap but four level 0 rabbit monsters are fine with level 1 rabbit monster, they are fearlessly coming towards city area where golden shield's crack is available."
Now, Ash is aiming to level 1 monster, according to the plan in his mind.
Ash shoots the bullet but that bullet shot by Ash goes towards level 1 rabbit monster but it missed its target and injured the level 0 rabbit monster, here comes second shot from Ash and bullet shoots the shoulder of level 1 rabbit monster, Ash's hand is feeling numb because of fear that level 1 rabbit monster is coming closer to him but he clenched his teeth and holds his gun tightly with hand and gets on a straight posture from foot to head and he again shoots three bullets from his gun and bullets directly shoot in the belly of level 1 rabbit monster and Ash shot one bullet into the head of level 1 rabbit monster and it killed without getting any chance of battle with Ash and Evan.
And Ash takes a breath of relief and he has a small smile on his face.
Ash sees at Evan and Evan's face is also showing a small smile on his face.
Ash thinks in his mind that "six bullets are used and remaining bullet is 14. and main force of rabbit monster is dead, other rabbit monsters are going to take time but danger of these monsters are zero for me and Evan."
"Take care of remaining rabbits with me. Try to take care of these rabbit monsters with sword, after all I have only 14 bullets left, but I take my position with gun. If I feel your safety in danger, I will fire bullet to save you." Ash said, with commanding tone and serious face to Evan.
"Okay my lord, don't worry I can take them down with my experience." Evan said with confidence and normal voice.
Ash feels surprised of Evan's declaration of taking care of all monsters but he doesn't say anything because he thinks in his mind "I will see Evan's performance on killing these level 0 rabbit monsters."
"I hope so, take them with caution and safety is most important thing in this right now." Ash said with small smile on his face with loud voice because he wanted to attract some level 0 rabbit monsters from himself so Evan can face less pressure from level 0 rabbit monsters.
"Okay my lord." Evan said with normal voice and smile on his face.
Here, Ash sees Evan is fighting a level 0 rabbit monster nearest into entrance area, he used his sword to slash monster's neck two times and that rabbit monster died after he steadily went towards his next target monster rabbit and it is also successfully killed but he looks somewhat tired and he is breathing fast and remaining two rabbit monsters are coming, and they are very close to each other so Evan has to take one and so Ash decides to become bait for another monster.
So, Ash throws stone to second rabbit monster to provoke, but his face showing some nervousness but he did it. And Evan swiftly goes to the first level 0 rabbit monster and he used two sword slashes into the neck of first level 0 rabbit monster and first level 0 rabbit monster successfully died.
And, second rabbit monster is trying to bite Ash then Evan comes with his swords and swiftly killed it, with his attack onto neck of rabbit monster in a moment.
Ash said "five goes seven are remaining."
Ash thinks in his mind "mission accomplished but just some fewer threatening monsters are remaining but it can be killed easily, I just hope no new monsters come today for fighting."
Ash is feeling good after killing enough monsters to feel relief about his safety and his city's safety.
And Ash ordered Evan to see the pit if any rabbit monsters are coming here or getting out of the pit, try to kill off monsters swiftly, and not fall in the pit after all we have to protect city against these monsters' daily attack.
Evan said to Ash "Yeah let's see three rabbit monster level 0 are successfully killed by wooden spike and four remaining rabbit monster level 0 are trying to come from the pit."
Then Ash started to throw stones for taking care of most injured rabbit monster in the pit.
After 5 mins,
First rabbit monster level 0 successfully out from the pit then Evan killed it effortlessly and easily with his two sword slashes in the neck.
And 2 min after, Ash killed second rabbit monster level 0 by throwing stone on its injury.
Then 5 mins later, Evan took care of third rabbit monster level 0 by slashing swords in its neck that came out from the pit.
"Let's patch up here rest," Ash said with smile on his face with happy tone and he thinks in his mind "I should feel confident on killing these monsters after all I and Evan killed more than 10 monsters for defending the city. Now I have to plan on how to increase my nexus city's attack and defense power and find a stone to construct market and house. It really bothers me to sleep on floor without roof and pillow. I hope to get some treasure that increases my comfort in this world. Maybe I get a reward from 'Eldros Will' for killing these monsters and defending a city successfully. I hope so."
"Okay my lord," Evan said with smile on his face.
"Let's see what we can find from this small war." Ash said with serious and curious eyes.
