Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Crazy guy huh?

And there will be light, said god, well, that's something that "him" have read before during his previous life.

Right, previous life, because he surely remember dying after what happened, now he was currently floating in middle of "void", in some sort of sense you can call that float, but to be fair, he is only a mass of energy, if that concept even exists in here.

Dunkelheit, which was the being's name wasn't always like that though, he was just a typical human, not exactly typical since his mind couldn't be called the most sane, but well, you can't survive that long if you're not ready to lose a few screws in the head I guess.

He could remember his past life pretty well, he still feel the adrenaline he felt his last moments, how alive he felt, which is contradictory, considering that lead him to his death, no regrets though, during his last moments he could at least have a choice for the first time in his life.

A normal person wouldn't react at gunpoint, not a smart person and even less a sane person, hell, even he would probably not, but he was tired of that life, unfairness is normal, it exists and it's not like he could change it, still, no one deals with our personal hell for us. That's why when he got a choice, he chose to beat the guy that was trying to rob him from the few hard earned bucks he had.

Well, can that even be called a beating? He jumped straight to the guys neck and tore off a piece, it looked more like a beast than a human, but he couldn't care less about that, unfortunately for him, that guy had someone helping him, and the moment he bit off the robber's neck, the other guy appeared and shot him in his back, "Tsk, coward" he thought.

It was painful, it hurt like hell, he didn't want to die, even if life sucked, and since he had no choice now, why not just go as cool as possible, he tried to run towards the other robber, but the robber kept shooting at him while cursing him, the bullets hit him over and over, blood was flowing away like a river, and he still approached, step by step, the robber was shocked, that guy was simply not human, how was him even alive?

Staying on his feet only because of his strong willpower he quoted a phrase he heard in a movie:

×"What you have are bullets, and the hope that when your gun is empty I'm no longer standing, because if I am, you'll be dead before you've reloaded."×

And as everything must come to an end, his bullets were gone, at that moment the robber could only panic as that bloodied guy punched him straight to the face, punching over and over, releasing all his fury over him, the robber was desperate, he has never seen anything like that, but suddenly... the guy stopped, he smiled and said in a voice that sent chivers down his spine, a voice that sounded like it was Devil himself.

×"You're coming down with me, you like to prey on the weak, blame your bad luck, because this time you are the prey and I'm the judge, I decree that your sentence is death."×

Dunkel's form was now a total mess, his hair which was arranged in a samurai bun before, was now drenched in blood, a few strands of hair covering his face, the robber couldn't see his face because of the darkness that was slowly encompassing them, only Dunkel's eyes which for some reason were shining purple could be seen, but the robber couldn't even think about that, because now death was coming for him, the fear he was feeling was so great, his whole body was trembling, his body was sweating cold, his blood was freezing, his body hairs were all standing in alert, he pissed himself in fear and all of sudden his heart which was beating so fast in fear...stopped.

Just like that, what he was witnessing wasn't human, it wasn't a person, it was something more, like death itself that came looking for his soul after the countless crimes he committed, and because that same being told him that his sentence was death, his body obeyed as if it was only natural for him to obey that being, that Devil, the personification of Death.

After Dunkel confirmed the guy was dead, he simply got up and stared at the sky, more precisely the stars, he slowly raised his hand towards it and closed his eyes, a smile forming on his face, he started laughing as tears ran down his bloodied face.

And he felt death pulling him, her soft embrace welcoming him, comforting him, as a lover who was waiting for him for so long, and then, everything shattered, reality itself started shattering in countless fragments, after that, the fragments all blended into one single fragment, which was Dunkel himself, and it ceased to exist, as it never existed and also existed at the same time, but Dunkel remained.

Which brings us back to this point, there was nothing besides him, everything was void, there was no life, not even death which was embracing him before, as death cannot exist without life.

Dunkel had a feeling like never before, that he could create something, something he could not understand yet, but he definitely had the power to shape this reality.

And that feeling was weird, because he also came to the realization of another thing at that moment, he fused/merged with another being, the being he now was part of, the weirdest part is that the being doesn't feel alien to him, as if all this time, the being was him, and he was the being, as if all his life was nothing more than the dream of a being that was asleep all this time, so in a sense, it was always him.

With all honesty, he thought all of this was all a illusion of his mind which was moments from dying, but he feeling told him it was no illusion, it was all real and that was his "life" now.

Which freaked him out, I mean, which sane person wouldn't freak out in his situation(Sane huh? I mean, he isn't one to talk about sanity here...), but the concept of time was meaningless now, he could take all time he needed to think about it, as there was nothing else in here besides himself.
