When Aurora returned to the shop, a slight smile appeared on her lips as she saw Josh approaching her.
"Ma'am, are you alright?" Josh asked, scanning her from head to toe to ensure she was okay.
Earlier, he had been terrified about letting her go in alone. Several times, he considered forcing himself to enter the back area, but knowing that no one at this place would dare insult his boss's wife, he chose to endure the wait, even though he felt anxious.
"Why do you look worried, Josh? This place is safe. You don't need to worry," Aurora said with a smile as she walked out of the shop.
Josh smiled sourly while following her out. "It's my job and duty to guard and accompany you, ma'am. And I'm proud I could do it. Also, your husband might punish me if he finds out I let you enter this place without my protection."
Aurora almost laughed at Josh's words.
