Aurora quickly guessed who exposed her.
'Damn you, Josh! I've never thought you're such a snitch!' She silently expresses her frustration.
However, her heart grows heavy as she recalls Josh's fate. She hasn't seen Josh since their last conversation at the hospital. She didn't even spot him on the plane when they flew back to the capital.
She suddenly recalled Alex, who claimed he would deal with Josh for cursing her.
Aurora slowly turned to Alex, surprised to see him gazing back. Alvin was no longer there, and she realized that only the three of them remained in the vast hall.
When Alex stood up from the sofa and approached them, she didn't realize that a smile flashed across her lips before she hurriedly concealed it.
Alex smiled back at her with his gaze while standing by her side.
"Are you done speaking?" Alex asked. He could see that she was exhausted and needed to rest.
