It was 11 am and Gabe just finished his classes at the uni, there he saw Paige, waiting in the first place they met each other, Gabe then called out to her.
"Hey, did you wait long?" Gabe asked Paige, who was smiling at him.
"No, I just finished my classes too," Paige answered, looking at Gabe, smiling with her eyes.
"Let's go then, eat, do you want to attend my session later? Don't worry, it's free for you," Gabe said.
"Okay, sounds fun" Paige said, they then proceeded to walk towards the cafeteria, Gabe ordered his food while Paige was still picking, he was finding a great spot so they can share the table and sit like in a real date, it maybe looked weird if someone normal seen this, but they both have a no dating experience, so they count it as, Paige then arrived, sitting at the chair across Gabe, they both just ate while talking and flirting with each other, after maybe an hour of this back and forth, they finished and started heading to the library, there they are met with Ozzy, Cece, Jess and the other students of his session, they then introduced themselves to one another.
"Guys, this is Paige. She will be joining us from now on. Paige this is everyone," Gabe said, Paige then greeted them all while they all greeted him back.
"Alright, let's start." Gabe then started his session, while he was explaining the whole lecture to the other students, Paige was just observing him, amazed at how he was able to shift his entire persona, one for personal relationships and one with professional relationships, especially how he handle himself with these kind of situation, Paige then remembered her past, the way she crumbled against the pressure of being a genius and nearly threw her life away just to rebel against her parents getting divorce, she was glad that she cleaned up her act.
After 5 hours of lecture and testing, and assessments, they all then dismissed, only Paige and Gabe remained in the library,
"Paige, did you not get bored today? I mean I did just spend our afternoon together working, and you were just there" Gabe asking Paige.
"Not really, I enjoyed your lectures, it is easy to learn it, you are a very talented professor, have you ever consider being a professor after MD?" Paige said.
"Not really, plus if I became a doctor, I would have to be an attending physician, which means I would also be like a professor," Gabe answered.
Paige just smiled at this comment and said
"You're teaching either way, wanna get out here? I'm getting bored, we're not doing anything anymore."
"Alright, because you watched me today, I'll take you on a real date tonight, where do you want to go?" Gabe asked.
"You pick, " Paige answered while Gabe just thought for a moment and suddenly said.
"I just have the right idea," Gabe said to Paige. They then went on to leave the university and took a cab, on the way there, Paige just kept asking Gabe where would they go.
"Where would we go?" Paige asked Gabe without any idea where they might be heading.
"Just wait, you will love the surprise of it," Gabe answered. They just needed to wait for about 5 minutes before they arrived. It was a carnival, where a lot of kids and families were seen together,
"Wow, a carnival, I've never been to one," Paige said, happy that she was here and enjoying the view.
"Me too, it's my first time, I never have any reason to go, " Gabe said while also looking at the bright lights that the ride, while Paige started staring at his eyes, she could swear his eyes were sparkling like someone who sees a fairy.
They then proceeded to try every single one of the booths here and there, the shooting game, where Paige is the newbie and Gabe just won her a teddy bear, the food they ate, until they reached the ride, the Ferris wheel, which was beautiful and romantic moment after reaching to the top, Paige suddenly kissed Gabe in the lips, Gabe, shocked at first but enjoyed it and started kissing Paige back, they continued this until they are nearing the bottom and their ride is ending.
"I'm holding that one since the entrance. I just want to try, considering that was my first kiss, it was not disappointing, no, I enjoyed it," Paige said to Gabe.
"Yes, I enjoyed it too," Gabe answered. They just sat there quietly while waiting for the end of their ride, holding hands with each other and looking at the view that was in front of them. After they got off the ride, they then walked towards the exit, slowly, still holding each other's hands. Gabe then called a taxi to accompany Paige to her home. It was a concept that he did not understand before, but now, he doesn't feel confident about her safety without seeing it firsthand that she got home safely. They arrived at the front of Paige's dorm.
After getting out of the cab and telling the Cab driver to wait, "So I'll uh see you tomorrow?" Paige asked while both of them walked towards the door,
"I'll see you tomorrow," Gabe answered. After a brief moment of walking, they reached the door,
"So, this is it," Paige said
"Yep, I'm glad to spend that evening with you. I enjoyed it, I hope to do it soon enough" Gabe said,
"Of course, I wouldn't prefer it otherwise," Paige said.
"You can go in now, you know," Gabe said,
"Yeah, see you again tomorrow, I'm looking forward to it," Paige said to Gabe after opening the door.
"Yeah, me too," Gabe said while Paige walked in and closed the door. He just stood there silently while having a grin on his face, he was about to leave when suddenly he heard the door open again. he turned around and saw Paige.
"Hey, What are you-" Gabe was about to asked for the reason why she came back but she just kissed him in the lips again, this time, it lasted longer than before, after separating, Paige said.
"Just for my sweet dreams" Paige said, while Gabe just stand there stunned as he looked at Paige who then goes back in the house she was staying, it was then that he turned around and started walking towards the cab that was waiting for him, but there was a huge smile on his face, it was really big one,
'This turned out to be a great day,' Gabe thought while in the cab, travelling to go home.
