Murong Xie's face turned sour as he saw Han Yu.
"That kid…" he gritted his teeth, fury bubbling under his skin. "Ugh!" he groaned—only to immediately wince as a sharp ache shot through his jaw.
Han Yu's punch might have only knocked out two of his front teeth, but the others had taken emotional damage. They were still painfully sensitive, and biting down too hard felt like chewing lightning. He tried to calm down for now, knowing his opportunity for revenge would come soon.
'Now that I'm an Indigo talent disciple, that kid's time is short,' Murong Xie told himself with smug satisfaction.
He was confident—no, absolutely certain—that Han Yu wouldn't get the same ranking. At most, he'd be Green Rank, or maybe even Blue if the heavens were feeling particularly drunk that day. But Indigo? No way. All those with high talents had high cultivation—and Han Yu, well… Han Yu had vibes.
So, the boy grinned, or at least tried to—his missing teeth made it more of a lopsided grimace.
