Chapter 70 - Changes In Jack's Academy!

Current Date: Year 24,991 | 7th Month Terros | Day 17

A new day broke.

WHOOSH!

As a blazing breeze swept across the land, filled with the crisp scent of fresh elemental energy. The atmosphere on the Otherworlders Continent had shifted once again. Nature itself trembled, as if something ancient… something primordial, was slowly awakening from slumber. Otherworlders Continent continuously evolving fast rate.

The earth hummed.

The winds whispered secrets.

The mana in the air surged and spiraled, reshaping the very soul of the continent.

The world was evolving day by day, season by season and every change felt like a drumbeat of fate, pounding louder.

BOOM... BOOM... BOOM...

Yesterday had been a moment of triumph.

Under a canopy of twinkling stars, James and Emma, now official D-Rank Adventurers, had lifted their newly engraved badges to the sky.

DING!

Silver gleamed under starlight, pride burning in their eyes.

Their voices carried through the night with laughter and tales of old battles, memories of blood, flame, and hope. They weren't just celebrating a promotion… They were celebrating a return to the world they once ruled.

Meanwhile…

Jack, ever the disciple of discipline, was already awake long before dawn. In the cold silence of morning, he trained alone in the courtyard.

WHOOSH!

THUD!

CRACK!

His Aura Force Rings pulsed around him like spinning halos of invisible energy. Magic Circles flared briefly beneath his feet with each movement of complex glyphs lighting up before vanishing.

His limbs cut through the air with deadly grace, shadows dancing as he practiced assassin combat arts swift, precise, and lethal.

Sweat rolled down his face like morning dew, yet his eyes remained focused. Determined.

One hour later.

SSHHHH!

A cold shower hissed over his skin, steam rising from his body as if purging the heat of relentless training. He stepped out, dressed in sleek black training attire that clung to his lean, battle-hardened frame.

Downstairs, the scent of fresh herbs and sizzling ingredients filled the air.

"Eat up," Emma said with a gentle smile, sliding a warm plate of breakfast before him.

"Thanks, Mom," Jack replied, scarfing it down with smooth efficiency. Then, without wasting a second, he slipped on his boots and headed toward the Academy.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

His footsteps echoed with quiet confidence.

Elsewhere, the day was… slower.

Ava the serene, platinum-blond hair Angel assigned by higher realms to guide this rising star of a family sat on the porch, her celestial aura faint but ever-present. Beside her, Sofia, the family's energetic 8-year-old ray of sunshine, bounced on her toes.

"I'm bored!" Sofia declared with puffed cheeks.

Ava glanced sideways with a soft chuckle. "Then let's go to Jakartha City to have some fun."

Moments later, the two were walking through the lively streets of Jakartha City's Main Market.

DING!

DING!

WHOOSH!

CLANG!

Vendors shouted, banners fluttered, spices swirled in the wind, and the smell of honey-sweets and roasted skewers filled the air.

Sofia's eyes sparkled. "Can we get some jelly cakes!?"

Ava smiled gently. "Only if you don't knock over another fruit stand."

They vanished into the colorful chaos.

Meanwhile, James and Emma arrived at the Adventurer Guild.

CREAK!

The old wooden doors swung open.

Inside, the hall buzzed with activity. Warriors and mages argued over quests. Information boards flickered with magical ink.

The couple strolled forward, confident. No longer new adventurers but now, sharpened blades ready to be wield goes for new heights.

Emma's eyes narrowed at the Quest Board. "Let's pick something with bite."

James grinned, his aura subtly flaring. "It's time we stretch our legs."

Outside, the wind howled again.

The world was shifting.

Fates were aligning.

And somewhere deep beneath the surface of destiny... something began to stir.

---------

As for Jack…

The Academy gates are tall, majestic, and lined with flowing elemental engravings.

HUMMMMMED

Softly with their usual resonant pulse, welcoming him like an ancient guardian. But today… something felt different. The air itself buzzed with tension, as if destiny had stirred.

DING!

DONG!

Suddenly, a booming magical announcement echoed through the sky like thunder rolling through clouds.

"ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS!"

BOOM!

"Due to yesterday's Novice Master Certification Badge promotion event, major class changes are now implemented in the Academy!"

"Those who passed and received their 1st Star Novice Master Badge in their respective Production Class Alchemy, Blacksmith, Enchanting, Talisman Crafting, or Rune Making will now be promoted to Section A in their fields!"

"Those who did not pass or failed to participate will now be placed into Sections B, C, or D, based on their performance and understanding. The Novice Master certification success rate ranges from 25% to 100%, meaning that out of every 100 students, only 25 qualify to receive their Novice Master Badge and ascend to Section A."

Gasps, murmurs, and whispers erupted through the academy courtyard.

"No way… only 25 out of 100?"

"It was that tough!?"

"Did you hear about the Duel Novice Master's Students who got two badges!?"

Jack's expression remained calm, his golden eyes unshaken. But a faint, proud smile tugged at the corner of his lips. His footsteps echoed through the crowd with a quiet rhythm tap... tap... tap…each step radiating unwavering confidence.

Because Jack hadn't just passed.

He had conquered.

Two Novice Master Badges. Alchemy. Blacksmithing.

An achievement so rare it bordered on myth.

His new uniform, a deep navy-blue, reserved only for Section A prodigies, fit him like royal armor. The golden-threaded lining shimmered with enchantment. Twin star emblems gleamed on his collar like constellations carved from fate. And pinned to his chest, two glowing identity badges, one for Alchemy, one for Blacksmith.

DING! DING!

Faintly glimmered like twin suns locked in orbit.

As he crossed into the Alchemy Department's Section A classroom, the atmosphere shifted.

WHOOSH!

A subtle pulse of power rippled through the air, like a breeze disrupting still water.

Heads turned. Conversations stopped mid-sentence. All eyes locked onto him.

"Isn't that Jack…?"

"He has two badges! Dual Novice Master?! Is that even possible?"

"He's so handsome… like an immortal prince from the heavens…"

Jack's very presence stunned the room. His crimson-red hair caught the morning sun and shimmered with a faint divine glow. His golden irises, sharp and all-seeing, seemed to peer through souls. The water drop-shaped birthmark on his glabella shone faintly, a mark of destiny. His jade-like skin and sword-like eyebrows carved him a visage that felt not born of mortals but sculpted by gods.

For he was no longer just human.

He was High Human, a being beyond the mortal realm blessed by a True God whose name remained a mystery to all.

After Breakthrough Into 2nd Star Ascendant Stage he changing fast rate. Like Evolving into entire new being.

Standing at six feet tall, his lean yet powerful build bore the mark of an assassin's grace and a warrior's strength. His movements were smooth, deliberate like a predator with complete control.

Jack's gaze swept the classroom and he noticed two more figures with dual badges.

One, a calm girl with short brown hair and tranquil eyes. Her badges: Alchemy and Enchanting.

The other, a confident boy with jet-black eyes, proud and calculating. His badges: Alchemy and Rune Scribe.

They were his equals, at least in title. He gave them a respectful nod.

Nod. Nod.

The unspoken acknowledgment of rising stars.

Jack then took a seat at the center of the classroom, drawing attention like a gravitational force. He closed his eyes, briefly shutting out the noise.

But the whispers continued to dance.

"He must've had professor's help…"

"No! I heard he passed with perfect scores!"

"Just who is this guy…?"

None of it fazed him.

Jack's mind was already leagues ahead strategizing his next goal:

2nd Star Apprentice Certification in both Alacemy and Blacksmith.

Advanced Skill Integration.

Deciphering the deeper mysteries of Alchemy and Forging.

The path of the Ascendant had only just begun.

But already, Jack stood tall as a rising legend not just among fighters, but among the elite Production Class prodigies.

And as destiny twisted silently in the background…

The world… watched.
