MAINSTORY:

A year had passed since Ava had left her life as a criminal behind and started living like a normal person. She had taken over Surya's business and was thriving, with no questions from her past haunting her. Ruby was now living with Ava, and their wedding was just around the corner. But despite their happiness, Ruby couldn't shake off the feeling that there were still many unanswered questions about Ava's past.

Ava, on the other hand, was trying to move on from her past and focus on her future with Ruby. She didn't want to revisit the memories that had haunted her for so long. But little did she know, her past was about to catch up with her in a big way.

Nikolas, who had been in jail for a year, received a mysterious letter that sent chills down his spine. It was the first time Nikolas had ever been scared, and he couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that had settled in his stomach. Desperate to warn Ava about the potential danger that was looming over her, Nikolas begged the police officer to let him meet with her just once.

But Nikolas was a high-risk prisoner, and the authorities had imposed strict restrictions on him. He was not allowed to meet or talk to anyone, let alone Ava. Nikolas was trapped, and he knew that he had to find a way to get to Ava before it was too late. The letter had hinted at a dark secret from Ava's past that could destroy everything she had built.

As Nikolas sat in his cell, his mind was racing with thoughts of Ava and the danger that she might be in. He knew that he had to act fast, but the question was, how could he reach Ava when he was locked away from the world? The clock was ticking, and Nikolas knew that every passing minute brought Ava closer to the edge of disaster.

Meanwhile, Ava and Ruby were blissfully unaware of the danger that was lurking in the shadows. They were busy planning their future together, oblivious to the fact that their happiness might be short-lived. The question was, would Nikolas be able to find a way to warn Ava about the impending danger, or would it be too late? Only time would tell.

Ruby and Ava stepped out of their house, excited for their long-awaited date. It had been a while since they had planned this getaway, and Ruby was bursting with anticipation. She had been looking forward to this moment for what felt like an eternity, and finally, she was going to spend a whole week with Ava, just the two of them.

Their first stop was the shopping district, where Ava was determined to spoil Ruby rotten. She took Ruby to the most luxurious boutiques, where they spent hours browsing through racks of designer clothes and trying on outfits. Ava couldn't resist buying Ruby anything she laid her eyes on, and Ruby's eyes sparkled with delight as she tried on dress after dress.

As they shopped, Ava couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and happiness. She loved seeing Ruby so carefree and joyful, and she knew that this trip was exactly what they both needed. After a morning of shopping, Ava surprised Ruby with a romantic lunch at a quaint little bistro, where they sat on the patio, holding hands and gazing into each other's eyes.

But Ava had even more surprises up her sleeve. She had planned a whole itinerary for their trip, and the next stop was a beautiful beach, where they would spend the afternoon soaking up the sun and watching the waves. Ruby squealed with delight as Ava led her to the beach, where a stunning sunset awaited them.

As they walked along the shore, hand in hand, Ava couldn't help but feel grateful for this moment. She had been so focused on her past, on the secrets and the lies, that she had almost forgotten what it felt like to be truly happy. But with Ruby by her side, she felt like she could conquer the world.

Their date was turning out to be everything Ruby had hoped for and more. She felt like a princess, treated to a fairy-tale romance by the woman she loved. And as they walked along the beach, watching the stars come out, Ruby knew that this was just the beginning of their adventure together.

Ava sat on the beach, holding Ruby's hand, and gazed into her eyes with a deep sense of devotion. "No matter what happens, I'll never let go of your hand," she promised, her voice filled with conviction. "I'll always be with you, Ruby."

Ruby's eyes sparkled with happiness, but she wasn't satisfied with just a verbal promise. "You can't just say that, Ava," she said, her voice playful but insistent. "You have to promise me, really promise me."

Ava smiled, her eyes locked on Ruby's, and placed her hand on top of Ruby's. "I promise," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

But Ruby wasn't done yet. "You're forgetting how to make a promise, Ava," she teased, her eyes glinting with mischief.

Ava raised an eyebrow, curious. "How do you make a promise?" she asked, her voice husky with emotion.

Ruby's eyes locked onto Ava's, and she pulled Ava towards her, her lips brushing against Ava's in a soft, gentle kiss. Ava's heart skipped a beat as she felt Ruby's lips on hers, and she knew in that moment that she was completely, utterly hers.

The way their hands were intertwined on the beach was almost poetic, as if they were meant to be together. And in that moment, it felt like they were the only two people in the world, their love shining bright like a beacon in the darkness.

As they kissed, the world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the depths of each other's eyes. It was a moment of pure, unadulterated joy, a moment that Ava and Ruby would cherish forever.

Their love was like a work of art, a masterpiece that had been unfolding over time. And in this moment, it felt like the final brushstroke had been applied, the final note had been struck. Ava and Ruby were meant to be together, and in this moment, they knew it.

To be continue...
