While the three demons were talking, Zain suddenly appeared at the entrance of the room, his eyes sharp and cold.
The three of them froze, then dropped to one knee.
"Master," they said in unison, heads bowed.
Zain smirked.
"What do you think of your new power?"
Red Demon was the first to raise her head, her eyes gleaming.
"It's good, Master."
Blue Demon and Yellow Demon nodded.
"Yes, Master, it's powerful," Blue Demon said.
"It makes us stronger," Yellow Demon added.
Zain tilted his head, watching them closely.
"Is that all?"
Blue Demon hesitated, glancing at Yellow Demon before speaking again.
"But the energy… it's too corrosive. It feels like it's eating at our minds."
Yellow Demon agreed.
"Yeah. I feel it too. It's like it wants to take over everything."
Red Demon frowned and looked at them.
"I don't feel that," she said, her voice confused.
"What do you mean it's eating at your minds?"
Blue Demon and Yellow Demon turned to her, both looking puzzled.
