Chapter 76 - Episode 76: “The Falcon is Caged”

---

Black Squad – Episode 76

Title: "The Falcon is Caged"

(The Squad launches a rogue mission to rescue A.C.P. Qazi — and uncovers a dark betrayal inside the system.)

---

[COLD OPEN – FLASHBACK – 7 MONTHS AGO]

A covert mission site in the jungles of Bastar, Chhattisgarh.

A.C.P. Sulaiman Qazi leads a strike team into what was believed to be a rebel camp. But it's a trap.

His comms go dead. Explosions.

QAZI:

"It's not a camp… it's a cover. Get my team out of here, now!"

We see masked men tranquilize him.

His last words before blacking out:

"They're... inside the ministry..."

---

[PRESENT DAY – BLACK SQUAD HQ, MUMBAI]

The team stares at the journal and tracker found in Episode 75. Everyone is shaken, but the emotion is heaviest on Imran, Qazi's closest protégé.

IMRAN:

"He didn't die. He was buried alive by the same people he once protected."

ARJUN:

"And now we're going to dig him out."

They go to General Virk of the Ministry of Defence for clearance — he denies them.

GEN. VIRK:

"There is no Qazi. That man died an officer. Don't make him a ghost."

ZOYA (under her breath):

"Too late. The ghost is calling."

The team decides to go rogue — off the grid.

---

ACT 1: Into the Dark

Zoya and Reet hack into military satellite logs. They find a black zone — an area intentionally jammed for over 200 days. Coordinates match the site where Qazi's voice was last heard.

Arjun contacts an ex-RAW asset for extraction gear.

Danish, still wounded, insists on going.

DANISH:

"He trained me. If he's alive... I owe him this."

---

ACT 2: Operation Phoenix

The squad enters the Satara Black Site in silence.

Every corridor is booby-trapped — designed for military escapees.

In the surveillance room, they find live feed footage from 10 different holding cells.

One shows a man pacing slowly, limping, chains dragging. His face is never shown fully. But his gait… unmistakable.

REHMAN (softly):

"That's him."

---

ACT 3: Trapped

They split up:

Zoya & Reet deactivate the power and comms.

Imran, Arjun, and Danish reach the sub-level.

Suddenly, alarms blare.

Automatic gun-turrets activate.

In an intense action sequence, Arjun and Danish fight their way through rotating walls and motion-sensor drones.

Imran reaches the cell.

Qazi is there. Sitting. Breathing heavily. His eyes slowly rise.

IMRAN (choked):

"Sir... it's me."

QAZI (weakly):

"You came too early... It's not safe yet."

Suddenly — gas floods the chamber.

An internal voice on loudspeaker:

> "Qazi is a traitor. And now, so are you."

---

ACT 4: Betrayal

General Virk's voice cuts through.

He's behind the black site.

Qazi wasn't captured by enemies.

He was imprisoned by his own system, for refusing to bury the truth about illegal operations and civilian deaths in North India.

GEN. VIRK (voice):

"The country doesn't need truth. It needs obedience. That's why the Black Squad was dismantled."

Imran and Qazi break free using a backup manual override.

In the control room, Reet rewires the circuits and collapses part of the tunnel.

They escape under fire — with Qazi limping but alive.

---

[FINAL SCENE – SAFEHOUSE, OUTSKIRTS OF MUMBAI]

Qazi sits across from his old team.

He's aged, broken — but his eyes still carry fire.

QAZI:

"I've been in the belly of the beast. And now, we're going to burn it from the inside."

ARJUN:

"Sir... you ready to lead again?"

QAZI (nods):

"No. I'm ready to finish what I started."

FADE OUT.

NEXT EPISODE PREVIEW:

A new villain emerges — Virk's enforcer, a former Black Squad officer turned executioner known only as Major Raaka.
