BLACK SQUAD – EPISODE 96

Title: "The Asylum Case"

Genre: Real Crime Horror Thriller

---

COLD OPEN

INT. LIVESTREAM FOOTAGE – NIGHT

The screen is shaky. A young woman, Meera, a famous urban explorer and vlogger, whispers into her camera.

> MEERA: "Shanti Manor Asylum. Shut down in '92 after a fire. But they say… the screams still echo."

She walks through decaying halls. Her torch flickers. There's a scraping sound behind her. She turns. Nothing.

Suddenly — a hand grabs the camera. Screaming.

The livestream ends.

---

ACT 1 – THE VANISHING POINT

INT. BLACK SQUAD HQ – MORNING

ACP Sulaiman Qazi watches the viral footage in silence. The file was forwarded by a cybercell intern — police ignored it as "stunt content." But Qazi sees something in the frame that others missed:

> QAZI: "That surgical tray... it's clean. Recently used."

Imran Wani, now Senior Inspector, agrees.

> "Also, 15 missing girls over ten years. All from that zone."

Qazi assembles the core team: Arjun Rathore, Reet Singh, Zoya Khan, and Imran.

They're assigned to investigate — off the radar.

---

ACT 2 – INTO THE ASYLUM

EXT. SHANTI MANOR ASYLUM – DUSK

A fog-covered structure looms, surrounded by overgrowth. Vines crawl up cracked walls. Crows scream overhead.

The squad enters with flashlights, headcams, and sidearms. It's eerily silent.

Inside:

Arjun finds rusted patient files, one for "Ritika Joshi – Age 16. Subject to electroshock therapy."

Zoya sees recent bandages, and fresh footprints.

A surgical chair sits upright in a chamber with blood smears and an IV drip still running.

Suddenly, the power flickers on. But the asylum has no power line connected.

---

INT. BASEMENT – NIGHT

Imran and Reet find a surveillance room, with CCTV footage from this year.

> A woman — middle-aged, calm — walks the halls in a white doctor's coat.

They recognize her:

Dr. Aarti Rao. Missing since 2002. Accused of torturing juvenile patients.

> REEDING FROM FILE: "Disappeared before her license could be revoked. Believed to have fled to Goa."

The basement holds 10 sealed compartments, all containing skeletons of women — posed like patients.

---

ACT 3 – HORROR REVEALED

Suddenly, Zoya's earpiece dies. She hears footsteps. Whispers.

She enters the old therapy chamber.

> A voice: "Do you think they sent you here to help? No... they sent you here because you're like me."

Dr. Aarti Rao steps into the light — calm, smiling, clipboard in hand.

She believes the asylum is still active and the Squad are her new interns.

> "They said I could continue. I only fixed the broken ones. Society doesn't understand us."

She shows Zoya a bound Meera, drugged and gagged.

Before Rao injects something into Zoya's neck — Arjun crashes in, gun raised.

Rao's hand twitches toward the syringe — Arjun shoots her in the shoulder.

---

ACT 4 – CLEANUP

Reet and Imran help extract Meera. Forensics confirm:

10 murdered women, all matching missing person reports.

Rao had built a full surgical unit in the tunnels, surviving underground for years.

She used stolen meds and tools from a retired paramedic who died mysteriously in 2012.

Dr. Rao is hospitalized under heavy security. She shows signs of delusional psychosis, believing she is still employed by the asylum.

EPILOGUE

INT. BLACK SQUAD HQ – NIGHT

Qazi closes the file: "Case 96 – Shanti Manor." He writes:

> "The monsters we fear are not always fiction. Sometimes they live where we forget to look."

Zoya receives an audio file on her phone from an unknown number.

She plays it. It's static… then a faint whisper:

> "I helped you because you were next…"

Cut to black.
