"Anna." (Greyson)
"Hmm?" (Anna)
Anna was pulled out of her musings. Her thoughts were drawn to, not knowing what would come next.
"They want to know what you plan to do if we all team up." (Greyson)
"Oh okay." (Anna)
Anna stood up at some point; she had sat down looking out over the burning town, looking away from the hustle of the other survivors. The others were gathered, lined up, and ready to leave.
"So Greyson said that you don't plan on trying to get a fighter class." (Justin)
Being able to fight would be nice, but I'm not strong enough for a bow. Using a shotgun is temporary. Magic would be nice. Shaking herself out of it, Anna spoke.
"If anything with classes, I'm hoping magic exists, but I'd prefer a caster class or support class." (Anna)
"We learned how to level up but not how to cast magic or get a class. Do you have things to be a support class?" (Justin)
"Trust me, she has enough to be a support class even if we run out of modern medicine." (Greyson)
"You make it sound like I'm a hoarder." (Anna)
"You learned how to stack products by filling up one of the slots in the inventory." (Greyson)
"Never mind, you have a point." (Anna)
"Ooo, there's a story there." (Kyle)
"Not really, I wanted to see if things stacked like in video games, and wound up stacking all of the pain medication, learned that as long as it is the same product, I can stack it. Haven't reached the limit yet." (Anna)
"How much stacked?" (Kyle)
Using the system, Anna mentally flipped through what she had in her inventory. Not paying attention to their expressions.
"Seventy-two." (Anna)
Greyson looked like Anna shouldn't have answered that because Mark punched Kyle in the side.
"Quit teasing the poor girl." (Mark)
How was his comment teasing? Anna didn't know.
"Okay? Anyways, I'm also hoping there might be a potions class or something like that. It sounds logical if I can make a poison or medicine while traveling. Maybe even make a smoke bomb to allow us to run away from monsters. I think that would be interesting." (Anna)
Anna felt like she would start to ramble about the possible classes she deduced to exist and how classes might evolve depending on how one uses them to make it unique to the person. She had a lot of time to think, so she tended to think beyond what she already knew into what she didn't know.
"That would work with us. We plan on helping the survivors to Yates' old place; most likely, people would sleep in both the house and the barn. I hope no monsters arrived; otherwise, that will mean more work." (Mark)
Kyle seemed serious for once.
"Honestly, if there is any monster, we must help clear the area before leaving. I don't know about you, but just because I don't plan on staying with the other survivors doesn't mean I'll leave them to die. If they die after we do all we can, it's fine, but if we can prevent..." (Kyle)
Justin had placed his hand on Kyle's shoulder, making him stop talking.
"Anyways, I wanted to make sure you wanted to join us. We all read the quest notification and want to do what we can to ensure we don't fail the quest. I didn't want to force you into a fight you don't want." (Justin)
"So you want to make sure this is something I want to do." (Anna)
Anna didn't have an honest answer. Although staying with a camp of survivors didn't sound right to what she wanted to do.
"I don't want to remain with other survivors doing nothing. I don't know if my thoughts will change. So I'd like to work with your group. I'm not heroic, but I'll do what I can." (Anna)
"Haha, cool we got a cute chick on the team." (Kyle)
So he had stopped being serious again. Once more, he got smacked by the others.
"If my age could be a deterrent, I'll say it. I'm not interested, and I'm only seventeen." (Anna)
"You're what?" (Greyson)
