The wind howled through the trees of the forest. The Female Titan remained trapped in a web of steel wires, her body encased in a hardened crystal layer. The soldiers cautiously approached, ensuring she was completely immobilized.
"We did it…" Jean muttered, panting.
But Adam wasn't relieved just yet. Something felt off. He observed the Female Titan closely—her crystal shell was tough, but something seemed strange.
"Wait…" Adam narrowed his eyes.
Suddenly, a loud cracking sound echoed from within the crystal layer.
"Get back!" Adam shouted.
Before anyone could react, the Female Titan shattered her own crystal from within. Shards of hardened material flew in every direction, injuring several soldiers standing too close.
"What?! She can break out of her own crystal?!" Armin yelled in shock.
There was no time to think. The Female Titan immediately got up and bolted at an incredible speed, smashing through the trees in her path.
"Don't let her escape!" Levi commanded, dashing after her.
Adam and Mikasa wasted no time, launching themselves with their ODM gear to pursue the Titan.
"Do we have a plan?!" Mikasa called out while maneuvering through the trees.
"If she reaches an open area, we'll lose her!" Adam responded. "We have to stop her before she gets out of the forest!"
But the Female Titan seemed to know exactly what they were thinking. She leaped onto a massive tree and kicked it with immense force. The tree collapsed, creating a massive barrier in their path.
"Damn it!" Adam barely dodged the falling trunk.
Levi and Mikasa managed to bypass the obstacle, but the Female Titan was already gaining distance.
"We're not going to catch up!" Jean shouted from behind.
Adam gritted his teeth. "She's heading toward the walls…!"
By the time Adam and the others arrived at Stohess District, the city was already in chaos. Civilians ran in every direction while the Garrison Regiment struggled to maintain order.
Then, a deep rumbling shook the streets.
Adam turned and saw the Female Titan leaping from a rooftop, crashing into the ground with immense force. Dust and debris exploded into the air.
"No way…" Armin muttered, his face pale.
The Female Titan had infiltrated the city and was now rampaging through the streets.
"We have to stop her now!" Mikasa shouted, immediately launching herself toward the Titan.
Adam followed closely behind. "Don't act recklessly! She's not an opponent you can take on alone!"
Mikasa struck first, slashing deep into the back of the Female Titan's knee. The wound was deep enough to make her momentarily lose balance.
But the Female Titan reacted faster than expected. She spun around and swung her arm toward Mikasa with incredible force.
Mikasa barely evaded the attack. Fortunately, Adam rushed in from the side and pulled her away just in time.
"Don't get too close!" Adam warned.
Levi arrived moments later, followed by several other soldiers. "We need to corner her into a smaller area," Levi said. "Don't let her move freely through the city!"
Eren, having just arrived, glared at the Female Titan with burning rage in his eyes. "I have to fight… I won't lose this time!"
"Eren, wait!" Armin tried to stop him.
But it was too late. Eren bit his hand, and in an instant, a burst of steam erupted into the air. The Titan form of Eren appeared, his eyes glowing with fury.
Eren and the Female Titan faced each other in the heart of the ruined city. The remaining civilians had already fled, leaving only the soldiers and the wreckage of fallen buildings.
The Female Titan struck first, punching Eren's face with full force. Eren was sent flying backward, crashing through multiple houses.
"She's still too fast…" Adam muttered.
But this time, Eren wasn't going to fall so easily. With a furious roar, he got back up and charged at the Female Titan. Their fists collided, sending shockwaves through the streets.
Mikasa, Adam, and Levi moved around the battlefield, looking for an opening to strike.
"We have to weaken her first," Levi said. "Don't let her overpower Eren!"
Adam and Mikasa attacked from opposite sides, slashing at the Female Titan's Achilles tendons.
Their simultaneous strikes hit their mark! The Female Titan dropped to her knees, giving Eren a chance to retaliate.
With a deafening roar, Eren slammed his fist into her face, shattering part of it.
"Let's finish this now!" Adam shouted.
Levi saw an opportunity and moved in, preparing to slash the Female Titan's nape. But before he could land a deep cut, she hardened her body again, blocking his attack.
"She's trying to escape again!" Armin warned.
The Female Titan attempted to flee, but this time, they were ready. Adam dashed ahead, slicing her fingers off so she couldn't climb the buildings.
Mikasa came from above, delivering a precise strike to her shoulder.
Levi followed up with rapid slashes, severing parts of her back muscles.
Eren seized the moment. With a powerful motion, he grabbed the Female Titan's head and slammed it into the ground.
"We won!" Jean shouted.
But suddenly, the Female Titan's body began emitting steam.
"What is she doing?!"
Armin's eyes widened in realization. "She's leaving her Titan body! She's going to escape in human form!"
Adam and Levi immediately reacted, chasing after the small figure emerging from the Titan's nape.
But it was too late.
With incredible agility, the traitor vanished into the depths of the city before anyone could capture her.
The Female Titan had disappeared.
As the battle ended, Stohess District lay in ruins. Buildings had collapsed, and debris was scattered everywhere.
Eren sat atop his dissolving Titan form, panting heavily.
"We lost again…" he muttered in frustration.
Erwin surveyed the destruction with a serious expression. "We may not have captured her, but we've narrowed her options. She won't be able to hide forever."
Adam clenched his fists. "We need to find out who she really is."
Armin nodded. "If we can uncover her true identity, we might be able to stop her before she strikes again."
Levi stared into the distance, his eyes narrowing. "This battle isn't over yet."
And with that, they began planning their next move.
Because they knew… the traitor was still among them.
