Following the return of the boys and the final downfall the Red Beard, I gave birth to Henry. Once the boys arrived back on the ship, Chealse noticed them land on the main deck. She ran down to meet them. "He's here! Henry's here!" She was excited.
Zoro looked up at her and followed her into the room. He smiled, falling to his knees, unable to speak, knowing that he had missed Henry's birth. "My son. I missed my son's birth. Dammit!"
I smiled. "Zoro, come and meet your son." I held a crying Henry, who looked more like his father.
Zoro walked over to where I sitting and held out his hand, which Henry took hold of his finger. He smiled. "He's perfect. My little swordsman. I'm here, little guy."
"Would you like to hold him?"
Zoro nodded and smiled holding his son with tears falling down his face. He looked at Luffy, who was also smiling. "I'm a father."
Luffy nodded. "He looks more like you than he does Kat."
"He might have come early, but he's healthy." I lay back on the pillow and watched as Zoro interacted with his infant son.
Nami watched with a soft smile. "Maybe we should let Kat and Henry get some rest."
Zoro smiled and placed Henry into a cradle next to the bed. He kissed my forehead. "Rest, my love. I'll be outside if you need anything."
I smiled. "Ok." I watched as he left the room before looking at the baby that I had just delivered, and I started to cry. I'm a mother. I thought.
Chealse looked at Zoro. "So, how it to be a father?"
Zoro smiled, leaning against one of the rails. "It feels great. I never thought it would happen, but now that Henry's here, I feel complete."
Chealse nodded. "Henry just isn't the son of an assassin and swordsman, but he has more family on this ship as well."
Luffy nodded. "She's right. I'm gonna be his favorite uncle."
Sanji blinked. "Why do you have to be his favorite uncle?"
"Simple. I can make him laugh easier."
