A man in black leader jacket set foot into a dimly lit room and handed over a brown envelope tied shut with string to a man sitting in the middle of the luxurious long couch, he had a silver blonde slicked back hair, beside him were women in skimpy dresses, pushing their body against his but he gave them no minds as if we weren't interested in them at all.
"Mr.Crow, our runner in Limerock Town is dead and the products that were meant to distribute to our dealers were confiscated by the cops" The man in black leader jacket informed Crow. Crow turned his head to the woman on his left and gave her a meaningful glance. The woman consciously signaled at the woman on the other side of the couch before leaving the room together quietly.
With nobody else in the room but Crow and the man in black leader jacket, he proceeded to untie the strings on the envelope and pulled out a detailed report with photos of the man who died in the apartment that night.
"Dead? Is this the doing of another gang?" Crow questioned as he went through the photos, the man who died in the apartment cheeks were hollow, eyes were bulging and his body is frail like a skeleton, it's like someone took out everything in him except his wrinkly skin and bones.
"Unlikely, we were informed by our intel that all the targets of the killer had no past connection with each other but the police did find that all of them took SBIA pills. And based on the description of the killer from witnesses, there's no such person that we know of from our rivals."
"Witnesses?" Crow flipped open the report and scanned the contents with interest.
"Mr.Crow, we have to assign a new runner for our market expansion in Limerock Town. Do you have anyone in your mind or should I just send out a new runner?"
"No. We couldn't be sure if the killers were not targeting us. We need a new face, someone that's expendable," Crow said as he skimmed through the report. "Ryan Black? What's with this guy? He's survived from his encounter with the killer in our runner's apartment. "
"He's just some random freelancer that we used to send our products anonymously to our runner in Limerock Town."
"Interesting…" Crow murmured, the corner of his mouth crooked in amusement.

"Hey Kiara, I just got here. What's the situation?"
"Right about time, we successfully cornered her into the convenience store. All the civilians had been cleared out and right now the officers are securing the back entrance. Is time for both of us to take the Tall Lady down. Preferably alive as per captain order." Kiara informed Ashley, as much as she wanted to deal with the Tall Lady as soon as possible, It was much logical for her to wait for Ashley instead of playing hero all on her own.
Drawing out their guns from their holster, both of them swayed open the door gently and navigated the convenience store with their guns out. The convenience store was large and brightly illuminated by the fluorescent light on the ceilings.
"POLICE! KEEP YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR AND COME OUT FROM WHEREVER YOU ARE! NOW!" Kiara hollered but was met with nothing but the sound of ice cream commercials resounded throughout the store.
With no other choice, both of them search through the row of shelves with their guns pointing forward, Kiara took the lead while Ashley followed with her back against hers, preparing for any ambush.
Suddenly, Ashley bumped into Kiara's back as Kiara's steps had come to a halt, she turned her head to the side and whispered to Kiara, "What happened? Why did you stop?"
"She's fucking huge…" Kiara murmured with her eyes widened in shock, despite knowing in advance that the Tall Lady is some sort of a giantess, is it still shocking to see it with her own eyes.
Alerted, Ashley turned her body forward and poked her head out of the shelf with her head above Kiara.
"Holy Moly…She's definitely taller than eight feet." Ashley upon seeing the tall woman blurted out in a low voice.
Standing eerily on the end of the store, the Tall Lady faced the row of fridges unmoving, seemingly mesmerized by the wide selection of colourfully packaged drinks in the see-through fridge. Unlike her first appearance in the apartment, her hospital gown was much more worn out and half of her ass was peeking out of her gown.
Kiara and Ashley exchanged glances and mouthed a countdown from three to one before coming out from behind the shelf with their guns aiming at the Tall Lady.
"FREEZE! LADY! HANDS IN THE AIR AND TURNED AROUND SLOWLY!" Kiara cried out with heavy breath, no matter how many times she does this, she would never get used to holding out her gun at a person.
The Tall Lady moved away from the fridge and faced both Kiara and Ashley, her long bang covering her eyes, only showing her nose and plump lips, making it impossible to tell what's her expression right now.
"Hands in the air, Lady. Don't make me speak twice."
The Tall Lady cocked her head to the side, as if she doesn't understand what Kiara is saying.
"Lady, do not make this worse than it is-"
The Tall Lady suddenly vanished from her place and before Kiara could react to it, a pale white slender finger in striking motion appeared in her sight, her nails were millimeters away from her eyeball.
'So beautiful,' Within those milliseconds, that's all Kiara could think of as she saw the bang of the Tall Lady parted away and one of her red eyes emerged from its hiding.
Before the Tall Lady could strike Kiara in the eye, Kiara was yanked away at the back of her shirt by Ashley, pulling Kiara to the floor while pointing her guns in between the eyes of the Tall Lady.
*BAMMM!*
The Tall Lady dodged the shot with a tilt of her head but it didn't stop there, the Tall Lady countered with another finger strike aimed at Ashley's face. Ashley retracted her hand with the gun to her chest and used the same hand to push away the Tall Lady's striking hand to the shelf. She readjusted her gun toward the Tall Lady and immediately started firing away but every shot was dodged with ease by the Tall Lady. With the same pattern of attack, she launched her hands again at Ashley but she was forced back by Kiara shots from below the floor, aiming at her head and throat, the Tall Lady had to dodge it by jumping backward.
"I thought you told me the captain reordered us to catch her alive?" Ashley poked fun at Kiara as she sheathed the gun back to her holster.
"Well, is not that gun would work against her anyway," Kiara replied with her guns still out, "It looks like we got to deal with her physically for any chance to even scratch her."
"We? I think you meant me?" Ashley gave a look of sarcasm at Kiara as she took off her bomber jacket.
Ashley all of a sudden put her left hand in front of her face while handing her jacket to Kiara, grabbing on the wrist of the Tall Lady, who thought she could take advantage of Ashley being distracted, the Tall Lady was shocked, this was the first time someone could match her speed.
"Try to minimize the damage, okay? We got an earful from captain the last time you-"
*POWWW*
Kiara's words were cut off short by Ashley's rib-crunching kick to the side of the Tall Lady, sending her flying, knocking down a couple shelves of snacks and staples.
Kiara looked on with a deadpan face, the amount of report she has to write and overtime she has to take after this is dreadful to even think of.
The Tall Lady pushed herself up from the shelves but Ashley wasn't planning on giving her any breather as she dashed forward with a knee to her gut, making her bend at her waist and fall back down to the fallen shelves.
However, the Tall Lady was unbothered by the attack, she instantly gave Ashley a right hook to the chin.
Ashley spat out a spit of blood and gave a smirk at the Tall Lady, clearly enjoying the fight before landing rains of heavy punches to the Tall Lady's faces, burying her deep into the shelves before pulling her leg back and kicking the Tall Lady at the chin, sending her flying into the wall and crashing into the storage room.
Dust were flying about and Ashley turned her heels to the back and make a peace sign over her eyes to Kiara, who had her mouth agape, devastated by how much damage she caused, this would cost a fortune for the city to compensate the owner and a lot of explaining she will need to do in front of the captain.
"Let's get this over with." Letting out a sigh of defeat, Kiara makes her way toward the big hole on the wall to apprehend the Tall Lady.
"Wait, where is she?"
"What?!"
Both of them passed through the wall to find the Tall Lady missing but Kiara immediately activated her enhanced hearing ability to find a small metal thumping sound coming from above.
"Quick! She escaped through the vent!" Kiara alerted, both of them went to the stairs to the roof. Ashley, seeing the door to the roof is locked with a chain and lock pad, immediately launched herself forward with a flying kick, knocking the door down.
But it was too late, they went to the vent on the roof only to find a piece of metal grilles left on the floor.
"All units be advised, the suspect has escaped, looking for a long haired woman in a worn out gown, she might be able to change her size at will." Kiara said into her radio, there's no way the Tall Lady could fit into the air vent with how big she is nor would the vent be able to support her weight. The only possible answer is that the Tall Lady is able to manipulate her size, that's how she entered the apartment through the kitchen hood in the apartment that night.
Note : Ah! It turns out the thing beside my feet in the public bathroom were my turtle! I picked my turtle up and the inmates around me were clapping their hands, congratulating our reunion. When I try to do a nose rub, my turtle let out a shriek before biting me on my nose.
