"Hey, just follow my lead, okay? Take it one step at a time.You can do this," Nikolas said, holding out his hands to Selene.
Selene exhaled. As much as she wanted to pretend she that had this under control, she knew she didn't.
Hell, she had not waltzed in five years, and now she was supposed to learn everything in one hour right before the wedding. Of all the things they had done, this seemed the most impossible.
But then Nikolas offered to refresh her memory and show her the way, and she had to admit that maybe he deserved the benefit of the doubt.
"Okay, fine," Selene said, placing her hands in his. "But you have to go slow and please be gentle with me, okay? It's been years since I last waltzed."
Nikolas pulled her in the moment her hands touched his. "Trust me, Selene. I'm always gentle, especially when it comes to you," he said with a wink.
