An attack from inside the castle was launched.
It blew apart a section of the crumbling structure—shards of dark stone whistling through the air—approaching Menma and the Skeleton King with deadly speed. Both dodged sideways, just missing the edge of the blast.
"That bastard—did he see us?" said the Skeleton King with annoyance.
Menma stayed quiet until a blur of motion blitzed between them.
"Master?!" Menma exclaimed, as Zayne appeared, bloodied and breathing hard from the impact.
Before he could ask any questions, a voice echoed from the castle stairs.
"Finally, you came. Delicious SOULS," Vel'XalvenoX said with twisted delight. His earlier neck wound had healed, and in his hands shimmered two copied Creations—Wind and Redspeed.
