Seraphine's pov
"Kael, we need to talk, NOW" ever since he came back to us he has been neglecting me, he leaves early before i wake up and comes back after i sleep. So today i followed him to his precious training ground
"I am busy, wait when i'm done you can tell me whatever you want to say" his voice was void of any emotions. "No, we must talk now" i said stomping towards him " It is inappropriate to leave a pregnant woman alone, don't you know i need you more now?" His muscle relaxed a little but he didn't turn to look at me .
" When i am talking to you, look at me" i hit his back and walked to his front, gasps erupted amongst his men, probably because i hit him but i don't care he should have paid more attention to me since before now. "Dear wife, why hit me?, Did you ever tell me you were pregnant?" He asked casually smirking a little. "We both know that you already knew since the first day you came back, stop being mean" i yelled at him angrily
"And how am i supposed to know?" he asked again. I'm sure he knows, he has a very sensitive ear and i already know he's barely human, not that i care. "There is no way you can tell me you haven't felt it, so shut up and start acting like a husband and a father" i walked away after i finished speaking. I have never met such an irresponsible and annoying man, well my father was worse, locked me in the palace, and he never even came to see me. No i don't want to remember that, i am married to kael and now i can do literally anything i want.
KAEL'S POV
"Your majesty, are you okay?, Will… you punish her? Fredric asked few moments after seraph left angrily, if he's talk about her, then no way in hell, i will never punish her not when she's pregnant with my child and not ever "Definitely, not, i will never hurt my wife. I'm not so vulgar, fredric" i felt a little insulted by his question but i understand why he asked, i can be ruthless when i want. "Thats not what i meant sire,.... I'm sorry" he said urgently, even though he is my friend he still acts so casual with me. "its fine, Lets finish up here so that i can make up with my wife" i said.
After we were done with training i hurriedly grabbed a bath and went downstairs to meet mabel. "Mabel, could you please instruct some maids to prepare a nice romantic dinner for seraphine?" Mabel is a sweet elderly woman i met on the outskirts of the salem kingdom, she was labeled a witch and was exiled fron her village after her husband died, she is like a mother to me here " of course, you have nothing to worry about, boy, every thing will be ready by dinner time" she said with a smile. "Thank you, mabel" and i left to supervise the men.
"My lord…" some soldiers came running carrying a dead body "what happened" i asked.
"Your majesty, this was a Salem soldier, we found a number of them not too far from here" one of the soldiers said, oh no, if salem soldiers were here then Kanan will find this place soon, all this people will lose their home, i have to think of something fast' i thought to myself "did you take care of all of them?" I asked, and they all nodded in unison. "Good, return to your posts" i said and left i was still pondering on what to do…. Wait, Argard kingdom, king arid's kingdom, i have to meet with him and have him take this people into his kingdom,.." i didn't know if he will agree but i can always threaten him, and he signed a treaty with me, he can't go back on that agreement.
When i got back to the main house, I met mabel in the main hall "Everything is set, your highness" she informed me. "Thank you mabel, please send someone to bring seraph" i said and she nodded
