"No doubt it's as corrupt as the rest of the heroes"
He muttered to himself. There was a tone of vitriol in voice, making apparent his distaste for the heroes.
Of course, his opinion was mixed because what theTaro did was a demonstration that, at the very least, there are pure hearted students in such a corrupt school willing to risk their lives for little or no reward.
There were true heroes in the making. He had no doubt that was because of All Might.
Izuku and his master agreed on two fronts, the first being that All Might is the most pure example of what a hero truly is.
Everything about All Might screamed heroism, under normal circumstances, they would judge All Might the same as every other hero, nothing but scum in it for the money and fame, however All Might wasn't like that.
He may receive payment for his heroic acts, but he always gives 70% of his hero income to charity or to other organizations, demonstrating a level of heroism that heroes like Endeavor never could accomplish
In fact, out of all the hero agencies out there, only a few can match his hero agency in charity work.
Because of this, the young man and his teacher agreed that All Might is the ideal hero.
The other point of agreement was simply the fact that all other heroes either had to be like All Might or they weren't really a hero. Essentially, all heroes had to do as much as All Might and be held to his standard.
If you can not do that, then you aren't worthy of the title of hero.
Having seen the news, the young man felt a bit of hope, Taro Yaoyorozu's actions will no doubt inspire others to do the same.
"Even if it's not intentional on his part, at least the message of being a hero without reward will be sent"
He muttered to himself, of course he wasn't pleased that such a selfless act by a student would be met with punishment but that only amplified his respect for his fellow agemate, no doubt Taro knew the consequences but did the right thing anyway.
"Although one has to wonder how incompetent, Kamui Woods and Mount lady were, to need a student to step in"
He said before moving and sitting up straight with his legs crossed. Just as he did so, the door of the warehouse clicked open, and Stain entered, causing Izuku to stand up immediately.
"Welcome back master, did you hear the news?"
He said as he looked at the ragged body of his teacher, and his eyes gleamed with respect. If he were told to pick a singular aspect about Stain: The hero killer he liked, he saw the sheer amount of dedication and courage.
the man was dedicated to creating a society of true heroes, and he was demonstrating his selflessness by sacrificing his own body to the cause.
"Yeah I heard, but it's not enough, institutions like UA don't need to be scared or broken into but need to fall, it's them that exacerbate the poison that is the current state of hero society"
He said while taking off the white hood and unwrapped his weapons. Stain's job was done hours ago, before the sun even began to rise, however he is no fool that goes home immediately after finishing the job as such he must meander and walk all over the place, sometimes even leaving the city before coming back and walking past the warehouse once before sneaking back in.
it was his convoluted way of avoiding any eyes or trails that might be following him he also make's sure there's are no drones or any trackers placed on him before returning fully sure he wasn't being followed
"That's true, but at least one student showed promise of being a true hero in the making, so there's hope"
"Don't be naive Izuku, do you truly think they won't punish that behavior out of him in the next three years? If they don't, he will be ostracised and barred from finding any hero work because he can't follow the "rules" and be forced into a life of villainy."
Stain explained as he kicked some of his clothes out of the way and began to lie down on his futon, feeling the fatigue of the day.
Hearing his words, Izuku frowned. It's not like he agreed with his master on everything. He didn't believe it would be so easy to change a person who already believes in the ideals of a true hero. This Taro Yaoyorozu surely wouldn't be so easy to manipulate.
"Once we finish the course, we'll take a month or two to finish your training, then move to Hosu City. Staying in the same city for too long would be troublesome"
Was all the hero killer said before his body went to sleep, not waiting for a response from his student, but the young lad gave him an agreeing nod anyway.
...…
[Yaoyorozu estate]
Taro's home was completely surrounded by paparazzi, each person trying their best to get a glimpse of him in order to make the next headline.
Due to this hounding by the paparazzi, the two siblings were forced to return to their home where their parents lived, as it was more and better secure, it was also a demand from the Yaoyorozu Patriarch.
Currently, Taro was in his bedroom, fuming in rage as he played a rather intense fantasy hero fighting game that he was losing. A majority of games specifically fighting games were often hero related.
The room itself was quite sparse and open, aside from his gaming setup there wasn't any sort of decoration to add personality or anything of the sort it was just a standard room with a gaming setup and everything on would expect from a bedroom
However, just beside the bed, there was a huge stack of manga and comic books that rose up the wall, almost reaching the ceiling. They weren't in anything like a shelf, just recklessly stacked up. Clearly, the person who placed them there did not care much, or perhaps he liked it that way.
"Yo!! why am I lagging!"
He said in frustration as his in-game character was getting absolutely destroyed. It was a sad sight, seeing Silver Age All Might get beat by Fourth Kind.
The game was basically just a bunch of modern-day heroes set in the various ancient medieval periods. it was an interesting concept, to say the least, but the game itself wasn't very popular.
"Damn it! Why am I lagging! Why am I lagging!!"
He shouted as he let go of any form of strategic play and started just doing anything to get his character out of the sick continuous combo. Unfortunately, he couldn't and ended up losing the match.
It was a disgrace, one of the greatest superheroes in the world, losing to some random like Fourth Kind
"Nah this is bullshit. The lag is crazy"
He said hearing the person he was playing against laughing at him, which caused him to only get more frustrated.
<
The other guy asked, his voice filled with amusement. Prior to the match beginning, he had asked about any possible lag Taro might have to prevent any "unfair" losses that many have claimed before.
"Oh shut up! You got lucky!"
<
"Whatever"
Taro said before he disconnected, got off his gaming chair, and decided to go get himself something to eat.
It was still quite a bit early today as it was barely past 9pm, to be game at such an early hour would mean he hasn't slept yet or woke up very early.
The young man was feeling a bit more than just frustrated today, and he didn't think playing a game would only compound that, but he supposed he should have seen it coming.
He also should have seen it coming that his parents would be pissed at having to pay a fine they didn't have to just to keep him out of prison. Although he didn't feel bad about that, after all, they're rich.
As he left his room, he was met by his sister, who was standing right outside his door.
"What?"
He asked but received no reply. Instead, she thrust her hand forward, touching his stomach before an electric shock traveled from the gloved hand that touched Taro and traveled throughout his body.
The electricity crackled as it did its best to harm Taro, but the young man only felt a tingle, which caused him to raise a brow at her.
"Damn it!!"
"The fuck was that?"
He asked in confusion, that was completely unprovoked and came out of nowhere.
"forget it"
She said, her words layered with frustration before turning her back and walking away, however Taro quickly grabbed her by the waist and hoisted her above his head.
"Hey!! Let go of me!"
She shouted however despite her tone, she made no attempts at escaping his grasp, it was always pointless trying to forcefully make Taro let go of anything, his strength practically made it impossible.
"Nope!"
