Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing also turned their attention from the spirit bone to Chen Yuan, their faces filled with surprise.
Chen Yuan calmly explained, "When I left earlier, I happened to see Shi Nian from Canghui Academy trying to assassinate Dai Mubai from Shrek Academy. After Shi Nian succeeded, I used my flying sword to kill him and took this head spirit bone. Spirit bones are extremely important, so apart from me, only the three of you know about this. Chen Yuan glanced at Ning Rongrong, who was still absorbing the spirit bone, and cleared his throat. "We need to guard Rongrong, so let's keep it clean this time. No stakes."
The deck of cards was something Chen Yuan had introduced. When playing cards, there had to be stakes. "Clean" stakes meant the loser would have to stick a piece of paper on their face, while "exciting" stakes meant the loser would have to remove a piece of clothing.
The former was a proper game, while the latter was a little game to spice up relationships. After all, it wouldn't take long before the game moved to the bed, naturally deepening the bond.
As Ning Rongrong absorbed the spirit bone, Chen Yuan, Dugu Yan, and Zhu Zhuqing played cards beside her.
Several hours passed quickly, and Ning Rongrong finally finished absorbing the spirit bone. When she opened her eyes, she saw the three of them with their faces covered in pieces of paper.
