"An online boyfriend?" Daphne chuckled glaring at Renée who stood admidst a mob of crowd sheepishly.
Daphne was the school's top bully and she had heard Renée telling her cronies Ruby and Jade about a boy she met online and they've been dating for a month plus though they've never met facially.
Renée is an ebony Amazon, she's neither short nor tall,she has big blue eyes,a pointed nose and small pink lips. She was born and brought up in the US though her parents were South Africans. Renée literally also held a citizenship in South Africa.
Renée's eyes got bulged up in tears as she was trapped within the mob of immobile crowd with Daphne making crass comments about her as she (Renée) stood motionless awkwardly.
"Oh !..... would you shut your mouth Daphne! Why do you always have to be such a cunt?" Ruby roared angrily at Daphne.
"(Chuckled) Aww..... who's this little pretty monkey?" Daphne said rhetorically provoking more laughter from the crowd.
"You.....!" Ruby got infuriated and had a plan on smashing a slap on Daphne's face but she was held by Jade.
"She really ain't worth our time"Jade asserted in an attempt to annoy Daphne.
They finally made their way out of the crowd as,fingers were pointed at them and laughters kept generating from all angles.
"There they go.....birds of a feather, surely flock together" Daphne smirked.
Jade and Ruby piloted Renée home as she kept whimpering in the car owned by Jade's father. She kept wishing there was a way she could vanish probably to a place where no one knew she existed. The car packed outside her home. She came out of the car cleaning up her face though it was obvious that she had cried because her eyes were bulged up and red. She turned to her chumps:
"Thanks guys but I think you should probably head home and get some rest" Renée said as a tears drop escaped from her eye.
"You don't look fine Renée,are you sure you're gonna be fine on your own?" Ruby quizzed with concern.
"Yeah......I'll be fine " Renée sniffed in with a shaky voice.
"We'll see tomorrow in school" Jade said entering into the car with Ruby as the driver zoomed off.
Renée sighed melancholy gaining entrance into the living room as she met Fabiana and Daniel her parents laughing of a joke which she knew was obviously cracked by her dad.
"(To Fabiana) Hi mum (To Daniel) Hi dad"Renée greeted with full courtesy and a humble prostration as she ambled sadly to her room making it explicit that she was dismayed. Renée sat depressed on her bed sobbing oblivious of Fabiana stepping into her room.
"What's wrong Renée?" Fabiana asked extremely perturbed.
"Oh! (She dried up her tears sniffing loudly) It's nothing mum" she responded with an obvious sad voice.
"A shared problem is as good as solved (sat close to Renée as she patted her) what happened? I'm always here to listen and provide a solution" Fabiana gave Renee a heartwarming smile.
"(Sniffed) I'm sorry mum,I know I didn't inform you about this but......I actually have a boyfriend online,I met him on Facebook and....today,I was telling my cronies about him when Daphne our school's top bully overheard our conversation and broadcasted it to everyone and.....that was so humiliating" Renée cried out bitterly.
"Oh Renée! It's really not nice keeping things away from me. I'm your mother and you ought to keep me as close as a best friend " Fabiana asserted sweetly.
"My apologies " Renée bowed her head in shame.
"But......who made the law of not dating someone online? (Renée looked at Fabiana) I know it's sometimes difficult mainly because,the person might be an imposter or someone deadly but ...... sometimes,you just have to listen to your heart beat, and always seek God's help in it so you don't fall into the hands of callous people and besides......(Whispering) How do you think I met your Father?" Fabiana asked as Renée stared at her dumbfounded.
