·Chapter 10: Confronting Akainu19 MarShareAt the same time, Akainu stood on the shore, momentarily stunned by the scene unfolding before him. He had not expected anyone to block the naval bombardment so effortlessly.

The World Government had long ensured that their weaponry was modified to counteract Devil Fruit abilities, yet this boy had neutralized the attack with ease.

"General, most of the pirates have been subdued. The remaining few should be easy to capture," a nearby naval officer reported.

Akainu nodded, showing little surprise. "Proceed as planned. Those pirates are already finished. It won't be difficult to deal with them."

Indeed, most of the remaining pirates on Akira's side had lost their will to fight.

"How could this happen? Why would the navy shell the Celestial Dragons? Don't they care?" Some of the pirates were beginning to realize the futility of their struggle, their fear growing by the second.

Akira remained unsurprised. The navy's methods had always been ruthless and impossible to predict.

"There's no other choice now," Akira declared. "If we want to survive, we have to break through their lines by force. It's risky, but it's the only way."

As the pirates prepared to act, they noticed the navy closing in on them. A direct confrontation seemed inevitable.

Ellie, consumed by rage, clenched her fists. "Why? Why did you execute my father?" she demanded, her voice trembling with fury. "I am a Celestial Dragon! How could you treat me like this?"

The navy remained silent, their gazes fixed on Akira and the others with cold determination.

Akainu stepped forward, his tone dripping with self-righteousness. "Ellie, you were manipulated. If you must blame someone, blame those who misled you. We couldn't risk these pirates escaping."

Excuses. All of it was just empty justification.

Ellie's anger boiled over. She let out a furious cry and charged at Akainu, but he showed no mercy. Raising his arm, he struck her down effortlessly.

Ellie collapsed, humiliated and furious. Akira, watching her struggle, felt a pang of emotion. She had assumed the Celestial Dragons cared for nothing but their own superiority, yet here was Ellie, devastated by the loss of her father.

"Princess Ellie, you have committed treason by aligning yourself with pirates," Akainu declared, his voice devoid of emotion. "By order of my superiors, you will be taken into custody."

He advanced toward her, but before he could reach her, Akira moved.

Lightning surged around him as he appeared in front of Akainu in an instant.

"Stop." His voice was calm, but the fury in his eyes was unmistakable.

Akainu hesitated.

"I don't know what lies you tell yourself to justify this slaughter," Akira continued coldly, "but I won't let you take her."

Akainu sneered. "You think you can challenge me? You have no special abilities, no power that can rival mine."

Akira smirked. "Is that so?"

Without warning, he unleashed a shockwave, sending the surrounding marines reeling. The sheer force of Shinra Tensei repelled even the pirates who had been preparing to fight.

"I suggest you leave while you still can," Akira warned. "Or I will wipe out every last one of you."

Akainu, one of the navy's strongest, could not accept such a threat.

"Insolent fool," he growled. "Let me show you the power of true justice."

His fists ignited with molten heat, magma dripping from his fingers as he prepared to strike. With a single motion, he swung at Akira with enough force to melt steel.

But the attack never landed.

A barrier of pure energy absorbed the blow, leaving Akira unscathed.

"What?" Akainu's eyes widened in shock. He had expected resistance, but not this.

Akira leaped into the air, his body splitting into multiple identical forms, surrounding Akainu from every angle.

The surrounding pirates gasped in astonishment. "What kind of Devil Fruit ability is this?"

Even Akainu, a seasoned warrior, felt a flicker of unease. He had assumed victory was inevitable—but now, he wasn't so sure.

"Damn you," Akira growled. "Apologize for everything you've done."

Without hesitation, his clones surged forward, closing in on Akainu from all directions.

Despite his immense power, even Akainu struggled against the overwhelming numbers. He lashed out, fists blazing with molten fury, striking down clone after clone. But with each attack, he failed to notice the trap closing around him.

From a safe distance, Akira observed, a knowing smirk on his face. "It's over."

He raised his hand, energy crackling around him. The very air seemed to tremble as an immense force gathered at his fingertips. A wave of unease spread through the navy ranks.

"Chibaku Tensei."

A crushing gravitational force erupted, dragging everything toward a single point in the sky. The battlefield turned to chaos as debris, soldiers, and even Akainu himself were caught in its pull.

Akainu gritted his teeth, struggling against the overwhelming force. But the impact sent him hurtling backward, crashing into the shore with devastating force. The once-unshakable admiral now lay battered and motionless.

Akira staggered, his vision swimming. The immense energy expenditure had taken its toll.

[System overload. Emergency shutdown initiated…]

Darkness swallowed him as he collapsed, barely conscious.

"Akainu has fallen!"

The remaining pirates, seeing their chance, erupted in celebration. "We're free!" they cried, scrambling toward the sea in a desperate bid for escape.

Amidst the chaos, Ellie and Hancock remained at Akira's side.

Ellie turned, her gaze locking onto a shadowy figure emerging from the battlefield.
