"Madam Allegra, how may I help you?" Mia asked in a voice which was neither polite nor hostile. Though it was true that Madam Allegra had never liked her, she had also never gone out of her way to bully her. At least not physically. She would often make comments which were too hard to listen to, but the woman had given her the due respect that Mia required as Henry's wife.
"Sissy, she—"
"I know, Cordelia. Now, stay quiet; you are forgetting the reason why we are here in the first place," Madam Allegra snapped at her younger sister. While her parents had taught her to become the pillar of their family, they had spoiled Cordelia to the point where she started believing that the world was her playground.
