*Chapter 74: The Tournament Field*
As they walked towards the tournament field, Goku introduced Krillin and Yamcha to Rayuga. Both Krillin and Yamcha were taken aback by Rayuga's chiseled features and striking appearance.
Yamcha, in particular, felt a pang of jealousy. He couldn't help but notice the way Bulma gazed at Rayuga, and he felt a twinge of resentment. But he sighed inwardly, pushing his feelings aside.
The group walked in unison, chatting and laughing together. Krillin turned to Goku and asked, "Hey, Goku, do you know if Master Roshi is coming to the tournament?"
Yamcha and Bulma also turned to Goku, curious about the old master's whereabouts. Goku shrugged and replied, "Roshi said he was busy. I don't think he's coming."
The group fell silent, surprised by the news. But Rayuga knew Master Roshi's character all too well. He suspected that Roshi might be attending the tournament incognito, wearing a different outfit to keep a low profile.
As they approached the tournament field, Rayuga's eyes scanned the crowd. And then, he spotted him - Master Roshi, dressed in a ridiculous outfit, complete with a bright pink wig and oversized sunglasses.
Roshi was standing far from the crowd, waiting for the tournament to begin. Rayuga smiled to himself, knowing that Roshi was up to his old tricks again...
*Chapter 75: The Battle Begins*
The tournament had finally begun, and Rayuga, Goku, Krillin, and Yamcha had all registered themselves as participants. The battles were intense, with many participants winning and losing in the early rounds.
As the tournament progressed, Krillin's name was called, and he stepped up to face his opponent, Tien Shinhan. Rayuga's eyes lit up with interest as he watched Tien Shinhan, a powerful warrior from the Crane School.
As a Dragon Ball fan in his previous life, Rayuga had heard of Tien Shinhan's legendary abilities. He was curious to see how Krillin would fare against such a formidable opponent.
The battle began, and Krillin charged at Tien Shinhan with a series of swift punches and kicks. But Tien Shinhan was unfazed, using his incredible speed and agility to dodge Krillin's attacks.
Tien Shinhan countered with a powerful kick, sending Krillin flying across the arena. Krillin struggled to get back to his feet, but Tien Shinhan was relentless, unleashing a barrage of attacks that left Krillin reeling.
Despite his best efforts, Krillin was no match for Tien Shinhan's superior strength and technique. In the end, Tien Shinhan emerged victorious, his arm raised in triumph as Krillin conceded defeat.
Rayuga watched the battle with a thoughtful expression, analyzing Tien Shinhan's techniques and wondering how Goku would fare against such a powerful opponent...
*Chapter 76: The Tournament Heats Up*
The tournament continued, with Rayuga effortlessly winning his matches and Bulma cheering him on from the sidelines. Goku also cruised through his battles, his incredible strength and speed leaving his opponents in the dust.
Rayuga watched with interest as Piccolo, Master Roshi, and Yamcha won their respective matches. He was also surprised by the appearance of Chi-Chi, who won her match with ease.
As Rayuga recalled the original story from his previous life, he expected Chi-Chi to propose to Goku after the tournament. But little did he know, fate had other plans.
The quarterfinals lineup was announced, and to Rayuga's surprise, he was matched up against Chi-Chi. Chi-Chi's eyes lit up with excitement as she saw the matchup, and she secretly vowed to propose to Rayuga after the battle.
As Chi-Chi gazed at Rayuga, she couldn't help but blush at his charming appearance. The crowd cheered, eager to see the battle between the two.
The other quarterfinals matchups were also announced: Tien Shinhan would face off against a mysterious opponent
Goku would battle Michael (who was actually Master Roshi in disguise), and Yamcha would clash with Piccolo.
The stage was set for an epic showdown, and Rayuga was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead...
