JUNE'S POV
He has headphones on and is slicing something on the counter, his movements fluid and effortless like cooking is second nature, he was wearing a white button up witg it's sleeves rolled up and an apron loosely tied around his waist, occasionally he'd push his glasses up the bridge of his nose i didn't know he wore glasses, his shirt fit him really well and i could sees every scrunch of his muscle underneath as he moved which i have no business paying attention to,i snatch my eyes from his body, just as he turns around probably feeling my eyes on him.
"William come here please" His mom calls frome where we are.
"I'm coming,"His voice booms from the kitchen, clear and crisp
I watch from my periphery as he says something to one of his staff, slides the apron off his waist, and starts walking towards us with such ease and effortless confidence in his long strong strides.
He came to a stop next to me, wearing an easy grin, i couldn't focus on what any of them were saying. My mind was in a haze because all I could focus on was how good he smelled.
He smelled incredible.
"This is my son William" She tells us wearing a proud smile," You guys have met, yes?" she says, turning to look at me.
Oh no,no,did he tell her about me on the balcony this morning.
My smile grows heavy and I can feel his eyes on me.
I don't respond, I just try not to let my smile drop completely.
"No,we haven't actually," he tells her, but his eyes were on me, soft and reassuring letting me know he remembered the earlier events of today.
And I don't know if i feel embarrassed or
He lifts his hand for a handshake, I take it he smiles "Welcome to the neighborhood…"
He trails off my hand still in his it is warm and starting to get a little moist..in a good way
His mom was already guiding mine towards the dining room they are chatting animatedly
"June, it's June" I tell him, unable to help the smile that stretches across my lips.
He nods thoughtfully "June" he says it like he is testing it out on his tongue his voice rich and smooth as the last time i heard it, i try not to concentrate on how good my name sound coming out of his mouth, with that accent oh my gosh i should stop, this is pathetic.
He smiles, his dimples deepening.
His eyes moving to our hands, like he forgot they were still joint.
He immediately unclasped his hands from mine, making me wish he didn't realize bummer, his hands were warm, now mine are getting cold.
"Are you good?" He asked his eyes searching mine, his tone was light but the intensity in his eyes told me he wasn't just casually asking he was really asking.
I smiled, trying to keep things light " Yeah, Perfect"
He nodded and was about to say something else when him mom called us to come have dinner.
He walks me over to the dinning room where a massive twelve seatee dining table sits in the middle of, rows of food lined on it.
Oh my gosh so much food.
They were already seated next to each other at the end of the table when we walked in so we took the seat opposite them. He opened my seat for me and waited until I sat before gently pushing it forward. The small gesture made me blush even though it seemed like it was second nature to him like it was normal, something he was supposed to do but to me it wasn't
in front of my mom and Will in front of his.
The food looked amazing and smelled even better too, it was like a freaking feast and i was so ready.
