"Father!!"
Thor felt the urge to turn and run, but he was already far from Asgard. He hadn't learned any magic yet.
No wonder Heimdall had looked at him like that earlier.
So, Odin had been waiting for him in Norway.
Wanting to punish him?
For what?
Was Odin planning to seal his divine powers again?
Impossible!
Thor puffed out his chest, standing tall and staring at Odin without fear.
"Father, if there's any punishment, then bring it on."
"Whether it's a storm or a downpour, I'll face it!"
"I don't know magic anyway."
Things were different now. He no longer feared the loss of his divine powers.
He was the true Thor now, not just the hammer god. He was also connected to the magic network, even holding authority equal to Odin's.
Now, Thor had just two words on his mind: Don't be afraid!
Seeing Thor's fearless expression, Odin finally dropped his last bit of kindness.
"Since you insist, there's no other way…"
"Prepare to meet your sister. She'll teach you everything you need to know."
"Sister? What the hell?"
Thor blinked, confused by the words.
He had subconsciously thought Odin was growing senile and starting to babble nonsense.
"Yes, your sister, my eldest daughter."
"The Goddess of Death, Hela!"
"Before, I could only contain her with my own life force. But now, you must face her. She's the best person to punish you."
"Eldest daughter? What?! Why didn't I know about this? Am I not the oldest?"
Thor was even more baffled.
Without answering, Odin continued, "Her lust for violence and destruction has grown beyond my control."
"Her strength keeps increasing, making her more and more dangerous."
"I couldn't stop her brutal thirst for power, so I had to imprison her."
"She can draw energy from Asgard, and once she returns to the realm of the gods, she will be unstoppable."
"So, you must fight her in Midgard."
"Go on, my son. If you can't stop her, then you've failed."
Odin's words were heavy, and Thor could only stare, stunned.
"???" Thor replied, still confused.
"Father, I don't understand. Why don't we work together to fight her?"
Thor grew anxious. This wasn't going according to his plan.
"This is something you must face alone, though we've accelerated it for you."
"Don't rely on the God of Magic. He won't help you fight your sister."
"It's a battle for the throne."
With that, Odin unleashed his power.
A black portal appeared in front of Thor.
Before Thor could ask anything more, Odin activated the dark energy teleportation, returning to Asgard in an instant.
Thor was left alone, staring at the portal, unsure of what had just happened.
"Heimdall, do not open the Bifrost to anyone without my permission! Not even to Thor!" Odin ordered through his connection.
"Yes, King!" came Heimdall's reply.
"Also, go tell Aitri to begin forging the Storm Axe. Thor will need it soon."
As Odin spoke, he looked toward the infinite stars, unable to see Thor or the boy who had caused him so many headaches over the years.
"I hope I'm making the right decision," Odin sighed.
"Maybe this is the best time for him to grow stronger…"
"If not, then I'll have to continue sealing Hela away, buying Thor more time."
But Odin's thoughts were clouded by doubt.
"Ragnarök... is it truly over?"
"Will the gods' reincarnation stop because of Thor?"
Odin didn't know.
He could no longer revive Surtur, the key to Ragnarok, because the Eternal Flame was gone. Even if Surtur was resurrected, he would be powerless.
But Asgard's fate was still bound to Ragnarok. Could it really be avoided?
Odin wasn't sure.
For now, all he could do was place his hopes on Thor and Aaron.
If Thor grew strong enough, Odin believed he could stop Ragnarok and truly lead Asgard.
But what if the maker of Ragnarok had already transferred the Eternal Fire?
"Thor, you must grow strong as soon as possible!"
Just after Odin left, a woman with wild hair and a black leather jacket stepped out of the portal.
She looked disheveled, but Thor immediately guessed who she was.
Hela, the Goddess of Death, the sister Odin had mentioned.
Thor, still confused, couldn't understand why a sister had appeared out of nowhere.
She had been sealed by Odin for over a thousand years. Did that mean she was the true heir to the throne?
"Well, you must be Hela," Thor said, still confused.
"I'm Thor, son of Odin."
"Maybe we can talk about this. Like, why are you here?"
Thor gestured to the shadow behind her.
"Your tone is very similar to his," Hela remarked, noticing something familiar about Thor's voice.
She wiped her hair out of her face and a helmet, adorned with elk horns like those of the Aesir gods, appeared on her head.
"Kneel!" she commanded.
"I don't think this is a very funny joke."
"Maybe we could talk, but I'm the heir to the throne now."
Thor swung Mjolnir, eager to test his sister.
He knew that this would be the challenge Odin had set for him. Even though he had no idea why he had an extra sister, the battle was inevitable.
She seemed rude, and if that was the case, Thor would fight first and talk later.
He threw Mjolnir as usual, preparing for his spinning hammer attack.
But when Hela caught his hammer with one hand, Thor's shock was palpable.
How could everyone pick up his hammer now?
Ever since he came to Midgard, it seemed that anyone—human, mutant, or god—could effortlessly wield Mjolnir.
Magneto, the Cursed Warrior, Aaron, and now... his sister!
It was getting ridiculous.
"Honey, you can't even imagine what I'm capable of."
Click.
With a twist of her wrist, Hela shattered Mjolnir into countless pieces.
"My Mjolnir!"
Thor was engulfed in thunder as he screamed in fury, glaring at Hela with a mix of jealousy and anger.
"You've totally pissed me off!"
Boom!!!
Back in New York, Aaron sensed a massive surge of magic in the distance. The power of thunder.
He frowned in alarm.
"Who is Thor fighting?"
"It's making him use all his power!"
Aaron felt something was off. It had to be connected to Asgard.
Just as he was about to act, Heimdall's voice echoed in his mind.
"Wait, God of Magic."
