Hey guys!! It's been awhile. Exams have really been kicking my ass. I can't say I'm back completely, but soon hopefully as I am taking sometime for myself as well. I wanted to get back a bit into the feeling of writing and I noticed you guys kept interacting with my story even in my absence so thank you for that. Sera's Pov
Lucian looked the very definition of worn thin.
I watched him from across our shared office space, where the late afternoon sunlight filtered through tall windows and gilded his silhouette in a soft gold. He sat hunched over yet another stack of paperwork, his jaw tight, his fingers tense as they gripped his pen. Even from this distance, I could feel the exhaustion rolling off him like waves.
He hadn't taken a break in days.
