Ayr quickly reached his crew, his voice firm and decisive.
Two of the Five Elders had already appeared. If they continued fighting, it would only be a matter of time before the remaining three arrived. No matter how monstrous their talents were, facing all five of the strongest warriors of the World Government in the heart of Mariejois was suicidal.
"Retreat? We can't retreat now, Ayr. Don't forget the mission Captain Rocks gave us—we haven't secured the Eternal Pointer of the Valley of the Gods." Charlotte Linlin's tone was resolute, her large frame exuding an intimidating presence.
"The Eternal Pointer of the Valley of the Gods? Didn't Shiki find it already?" Ayr asked, his eyes narrowing in confusion.
Golden Lion blinked in surprise before realization dawned upon him. He reached into his coat, retrieving the Eternal Pointer, and then laughed.
"Jihahahaha! If you hadn't reminded me, I might have forgotten, Ayr! I already secured it—we have no reason to stay here any longer!"
Originally, he had planned to regroup with the others and escape as soon as he found the Eternal Pointer. But after encountering Ayr, he was intercepted by the Five Elders, forcing him into battle.
However, with the combined might of Whitebeard, Kaido, and Linlin, they now had a real chance at retreating. Yet, the enemy in front of them was no ordinary foe, and instinct had kept them locked in the fight.
Only now, with Ayr's sharp reminder, did he realize how reckless they had been.
"You found the Eternal Pointer?" Kaido asked, his brows furrowing slightly.
"Yes," Golden Lion confirmed, displaying the compass-like device that guided the way to the Valley of the Gods.
"Shiki, you bastard, why didn't you mention this earlier!?" Charlotte Linlin roared, her patience finally snapping.
They had risked their lives fighting the Five Elders solely to secure the Eternal Pointer. If Golden Lion had already found it, why were they still here wasting time!?
"You never asked," Golden Lion shrugged, his nonchalant response only further irritating Linlin.
"Didn't ask!? That's your excuse!? You absolute idiot! You just wasted our time for no reason!"
"Enough," Whitebeard interrupted, his deep voice cutting through their argument like a blade. "Instead of bickering, we should focus on retreating."
If they were only facing one of the Five Elders, escaping wouldn't have been difficult. But now, with two of them here—and their killing intent clear—leaving was no longer a simple task.
"Retreat? Do you really think you'll leave here alive?" The knife-wielding Five Elder sneered, his grip tightening on his weapon.
"The Marines failed to stop you, but don't think you can escape from us," the long-straight-haired Elder added, his cold voice carrying the weight of absolute authority.
Standing together, the two Elders radiated a suffocating pressure. Their eyes locked onto the five pirates with a chilling murderous intent.
"It's troublesome, yes, but… if it's just the two of you, we'll manage," Ayr said, his voice steady.
Defeating both of the Five Elders would be uncertain, but escaping? Ayr was confident in their abilities.
"Arrogant brat. Try it and see." The knife-wielding Elder scoffed.
"Confident words. Let's see if you can back them up." The long-haired Elder's gaze remained unyielding.
Whitebeard turned to Ayr. "Do you have a plan?"
"No need for one. We just need to hit them hard enough to force them back, then retreat immediately," Ayr stated plainly.
"All five of us working together?" Whitebeard pondered. "Fine, let's give it a try."
Charlotte Linlin shot a glare at Golden Lion. "Shiki, don't drag us down. This is a fight for survival."
Golden Lion smirked. "Jihahaha… I'm running low on stamina, but I can still manage one last attack."
"Then let's go all out!"
Ayr wasn't willing to remain in Mariejois even a second longer. No one knew when the other three Five Elders would arrive. Every second wasted increased their danger exponentially.
At this moment, Mariejois had become a battlefield as deadly as the legendary God Valley Incident!
"Tailed Beast Bomb!!!"
Ayr wasted no time, activating his most devastating technique—Kurama's ultimate attack, the Tailed Beast Bomb!
