Backstory
Jake never knew his parents. Their fate is unknown, lost in the past before he was old enough to understand. The only family he had was his grandmother, Eleanor Beck, who raised him with warmth and discipline.
Life in his village was simple and joyful until one fateful night when monsters attacked. His grandmother, realizing they had no chance of survival, forced him and his best friend, Dylan, to flee. As they ran, Jake looked back—only to see a spear pierce Eleanor's back, her body collapsing lifelessly.
Jake instinctively tried to run back, but Dylan pulled him away, forcing him to keep moving, even as his heart screamed in grief.
The two wandered, barely surviving until they were discovered by Marcus, a general of Silivia's royal guard. Under his protection, they grew up within Silivia's military structure, learning to fight and survive in a world where demons were growing stronger.
But even with training, Jake was never exceptionally strong. He lacked magic, he lacked overwhelming physical power—he was simply a young man thrown into a world far beyond his capabilities.
Abilities
Jake has no magic and no special abilities. He is a Level 37 fighter, with a maximum HP of 270, which is dangerously low considering the state of the world.
Summoning Daeva's Whip – The only thing he has to defend himself is Daeva's whip, which she gave to him for protection. However, he doesn't know how to use it properly.
Whip Trick – Despite his lack of skill, he figured out a trick—using the whip to grab objects from a distance. This allowed him to snatch Skully's sword right from his grip, though such maneuvers are rare and risky.
Tactical Thinking – What he lacks in raw power, he makes up for in quick thinking. Even without magic, Jake has a knack for finding unexpected solutions to his problems.
However, he is painfully aware that in this world, intelligence alone isn't always enough to survive.
