Kara was still staring at Felix. "You didn't hesitate." she said. "Is a human life really that insignificant?"
Kara grabbed Felix, shaking him. "Felix, what are you doing? Why did you do this? Is a human life really that unimportant? Why? Why?"
Felix shoved Kara away. "Stupid woman, you heroes have a distorted understanding. You're narcissistic. You take justice into your own hands, according to your own warped sense of what it should be."
Kara interrupted Felix. "Everyone deserves a chance."
Felix only got angrier. "There's some fool sitting with a scale, and you guys measure good and evil with him? This is your problem, heroes. You all walk around like a bunch of idiots seeing everything in black and white."
Felix's words shook Kara. Was this how he thought? These words seemed to ripple through his soul.
Then Felix spoke again, this time with an almost mocking tone. "Why were you following me? Explain."
Kara became flustered. "I... I need answers."
Felix simply raised an eyebrow. "What do you want to know?"
Kara spoke in a voice that was more of a murmur. "Why didn't you kill me?"
Felix looked into Kara's eyes and sighed. "Now I understand, idiot. All your power only goes to your body, and doesn't leave anything in your brain? You're a damn Kryptonian. Who else can take your blood without trying to killing you except me? Yet you threw me off a damn skyscraper."
Kara's eyes widened. "Is that it? Was there another reason? Was it really that simple?"
Felix replied without hesitation. "Yes, it's that simple. I don't know what you thought in your fantasy world, but yes, you're aggressive. You're not like Superman. You get angry quickly. I didn't even expect you to come straight at me. So, now leave me alone and don't follow me again."
Felix walked out of the alley before Kara could even respond, not giving her a chance to answer.
Kara dropped to her knees. Was this all? Was this how far this man would go to belittle her? Her eyes only flashed for a moment before tears started to fall.
She wouldn't forget this humiliation, and one day, she would make Felix pay for it.
Meanwhile, Felix had already gone to a café to kill time and made plans for Ra's al Ghul. He knew that even if this man died, he would return from the Lazarus Pit. But the commission only required his death.
Ra's al Ghul knew he would rise again from the Lazarus Pit.
Felix made his plans and drank his coffee.
It was evening.
Felix checked all his equipment and took the necessary supplies with him.
His armor was bulletproof, resistant to sword strikes, but there was still a chance it could be pierced. Even if the chance was small, he packed his gear into his inventory.
He checked his power on the system:
[Tier: 7 A]
[Assimilation: bang %46]
[Assimilation: adam %20]
His power was quite strong and growing, and his martial arts skills were improving, but completing the Adam template was going to be difficult.
In the following hours, Felix went to the designated location with Deathstroke and Ravager, ready to head out.
He wear his Bloodhound gear, and they headed toward the League of Assassins' base.
Deathstroke led the way since he was the one who had hired Felix.
As the three of them moved through the shadows, Felix was scanning the surroundings carefully. The closer they got to the League of Assassins' base, the quieter the atmosphere became, but Felix knew this was the calm before the storm. While following Deathstroke's lead, he suppressed the adrenaline building up inside him because they didn't know what was waiting ahead.
According to the information given, Ras al Ghul was currently in Gotham.
Bloodhound and Deathstroke were observing it through binoculars, but Bloodhound noticed something strange.
"Where are the patrols? There's no one except a few people. Is this normal?"
Bloodhound looked at Deathstroke. "You noticed, didn't you? Where are the patrols? It's like they're waiting for us."
Deathstroke responded, "Yes, it's predictable. And your observational skills are impressive."
Bloodhound only grumbled.
Ravager, however, looked at Bloodhound with jealousy, seeing her father's shadow in him.
Bloodhound and Deathstroke looked at each other, already deciding what to do.
They would silently infiltrate the base, find Ras al Ghul, finish the job, and take a photograph as proof.
Together, they silently approached.
They were all professionals; the silence was eerie.
Bloodhound was killing any guards they encountered.
Each guard was silently struck in the chest or head by a blade, not a sound escaping.
But suddenly, something unexpected happened.
Ravager stepped on a trap, and arrows were shot at them. Deathstroke and Felix dodged, but Ravager wasn't so lucky. She tried to pull away, but an arrow pierced her shoulder. It was poisoned.
They all knew there would be traps, but Ravager's carelessness caused her to step right into one.
Ravager leaned against the wall, breathing heavily. Felix approached her with a detached voice. "This arrow is poisoned. Let me remove it before it enters your body."
Ravager, a bit annoyed, snapped, "I could have handled it myself."
Felix glanced at Deathstroke.
Deathstroke nodded in approval.
Felix took off his mask, and both Deathstroke and Ravager were shocked, for Felix was young and handsome.
Before Ravager could say anything, Felix sucked the poison out of the wound and spat it on the ground.
Ravager flushed with anger.
Felix's face remained expressionless.
After sucking the poison out of the wound, Felix disinfected the area and bandaged it up.
Deathstroke and Ravager were surprised when Felix retrieved an item from the void, looking like he had a whole arsenal hidden. This man was full of surprises.
But then, they thought about asking, but they were in the middle of a mission, and there was no time.
Felix put his mask back on, and they continued on their way.
They stopped in front of a door. It screamed "trap," but they entered anyway.
There, standing in the middle, was Ras al Ghul.
Ra's al Ghul laughed, "Welcome, we were expecting you. Now that you're here, you'll have to face the consequences."
The room was huge, the size of a football field.
Suddenly, from the shadows, around 100 people emerged.
Felix sighed. "Well, this is just great."
{If you have any suggestions for Gacha, feel free to leave a comment. What you think is important to me. There may be moments that seem forced, but my goal is to be unpredictable, and some of your comments have really helped me. The story will develop accordingly. There is a summoning card, which character would you like to ser? Don't forget to send some power stones, and leave a comment as well; I need motivation."
