Carrance has a blade in his right hand, he has clearly learned some swordsmanship since him and Jefferson last saw each other. "It's been way to long, don't tell me you are scared" Carrance says this while pointing his blade at Jefferson. "I just don't want to fight, I didn't come here to do that" Jefferson replies to Carrance calmly. "Who told you that you can just not fight, you know strength is what's most important here" Carrance opens his eyes wide, Jefferson notices that Carrance's eyes are flashing between black and purple. "What the hell" Jefferson is shocked, he has never seen anything like this before. Carrance slashes at Jefferson. Jefferson catches the blade and kicks Carrance away. "Didn't I just say I do not want to fight" Jefferson is getting slightly aggravated. Jefferson is about to break the sword but it suddenly flies back into Carrance's hand. "Since you are human, you can't do stuff like this" Carrance activates his jagan energy and infuses it into his blade. His blade is exuding a indigo aura around it. Carrance is about to rush back in but Gerado stops him. "Stop this nonsense Carrance, you would lose anyway" Gerado says this to Carrance, sternly. "I don't care" Carrance just wants to fight Jefferson. "Call back your energy, now" Gerado's stern voice finally reaches Carrance's ears, he extinguishes his jagan energy. "Sorry for this, his transformation has made him lose some of his past memories, just because he's unique" Gerado tells this to Jefferson before he walks away with Carrance. Carrance isn't done with this yet though, he plans to continue this later.
Rudius is just practicing the technique. He feels a familiar presence in his mind, this person has not appeared since he took over to eat those souls. "Well, well, it's been a while and I see that you're practicing a pretty advanced technique, shouldn't you focus on unlocking your abilities first though" It was Bob who said this. "Well I don't know how to do that, and also why are you acting so friendly" Rudius is skeptical with Bob's appearance. He has a feeling that he's up to no good. "That technique can make your Jagan energy purer, and also help you increase your reserves, but having too much energy without control is just a death wish, and you already have way too much" Bob explains trying to let Rudius use his head for once. "So too much energy equals explosion" Rudius says, he dumbed it down for himself. "Basically yes, but if you let me use your body for a second i could make an improved version, letting you also learn how to control your energy which in turn will also allow you to unlock your abilities" Bob gave Rudius this offer. Rudius doesn't trust Bob, he has a feeling that he has ulterior motives, but he also knows that a Japajing should know how to use jagan energy the best. "Fine, but I still don't forgive you when you took over to just devour those souls" Rudius says with a sad expression, remembering the guilt he felt afterwards. Bob takes over, Rudius' eyes turn into a bright red color. Bob starts to write on the book. "Wait, stop, we can't damage this" Rudius starts to get worried. "Oh stop whining, you really think they don't have multiple copies of this same technique" Bob tells this to Rudius. Rudius stops complaining when he realizes that Bob is actually right. Bob finishes the adjustments to the technique and even added a little extra. Rudius gains back control of his body. "I decided to be a little nice, i added a new part of the technique, a soul core, and no its not like the martial arts novels you read" Bob tells this to Rudius and Rudius is a little embarrassed. "It can be placed anywhere you want in the body, I personally recommend the brain or heart, especially the heart. The functions though is that by using the souls you have consumed you can strengthen your body more efficiently, meditation does nothing to it but using abilities related to your soul and trauma can enhance it, even mimicking some of its attributes, of course this is a weakened on since this is made for Japajings and not Jaganase" Bob explains this to Rudius. "I think I understand but wouldn't that mean-" Bob cuts him off. "The more you kill the stronger you become, this is actually a really high level technique now, actually worth practicing, I would recommend keeping it to yourself though, but that's up to you" With saying that Bob vanishes in Rudius' mind again. Rudius decides to practice the newly improved technique, he doesn't seemed to thrilled about the soul core though, after all he would never go on a killing spree. "He's right though, I should probably keep this to myself, I might get interrogated if I decide to share it" Rudius makes up his mind, determined to follow through with it. While practicing Rudius already starts to feel the difference, he has more control over his energy and it has also increased in volume. He doesn't know about the purity though, his energy still looks the same like before, black with red electricity that sparks out from time to time. The soul core he doesn't fully trust though, and also putting it in his heart seems like a bad idea but since Bob went through all that effort it shouldn't have any side effects. So Rudius decides to go through with it. He starts to form the core on the left side of his heart. Everything was going smoothly until he starts to feel a searing pain envelop his chest. He feels his heart melting, and he doesn't know what to do. The pain is indescribable but then he notices through the pain that his heart is being replaced, it's no longer a physical object but its now spiritual. As a result of this though his blood would also go through a change, since his heart is now ethereal, his blood couldn't be pumped through it. He starts to feel the pain spread through out his entire body, his blood becomes spiritual, almost colorless but it has a faint golden hue, his organs become semi intangible to handle his new blood. It took only five minutes for this process to finish but to Rudius it felt like weeks, maybe even months went by. Rudius hears a laugh echo in his skull and he already knows who is responsible for it. "Bob, why didn't you warn me" Rudius is extremely angry at Bob. "Didn't I tell you it's made for Japajing and not Jaganase, Japajing are spiritual entities you know, did you really think your body could do something meant for a spiritual organism without any modifications" Bob is still laughing hysterically. Rudius doesn't even know how to respond, he's more focused on his body, it feels stronger but also foreign at the same time. "Well I'm actually leaving this time, by the way since the air has souls in this area, why not try to use that to your advantage, later" Bob is actually gone this time. Rudius remembers that Jefferson did say that souls are mixed into the air because of device. If normal Jaganase can become stronger from it, he wonders how it would work out with him. His luck is finally turning around. He has nothing to worry about, he can just focus on training, after all that's what they came here to do, right?
*Back with Jefferson* After Gerado left with Carrance, Jefferson is just standing their. "What did they do to my little brother" Jefferson after collecting his thoughts is upset because he knows the clan is part of the reason why his younger brother is in his current state. He never saw anything like that before, A Jaganase in the crossroads of two different types, he doesn't even know when it started happening to him. He decides to walk out and catch some fresh air, this place always unsettled him anyway. He walks by the others and points them into the direction where they can start the training. Jefferson steps outside of the clan building and goes into the woods, he always did find comfort there. A figure is watching this happen, the same figure who was on the wing of the plane. "He's entering the forest, strike now?" The figure relays this message to someone else. "No, I'll fight him next month, the day they are leaving" It was Carrance talking to them, ever since his transformation he has developed an indescribable hatred towards Jefferson. No one will get in his way, if need be even Gerado will die, just so he can finally understand what is going on with him. He believes that killing the object of his immense hatred will finally put an end to his madness. Jefferson is just meditating until he feels like someone is talking about him. He decides to pay it no mind, it must just be the stress catching up to him. His wife would calm him down. "It's just a month" He mutters to himself, trying to reassure himself that it will all be over soon.
