Two weeks laters, Jesse was standing by an old kiosk outside his now old school. He hadn't attended school in the days that passed since meeting Mr. Hernandez and he was sure quite a number of people would be wondering about his whereabouts.
Well... it was no secret that Jesse struggled with paying the school's school fees, and he wasn't alone in that either. Several other students were barred from coming into the school premises without their school fees receipt, after all.
Over two weeks ago, that had been a major concern for him and his mother.
But now?
All their worries had been sorted out.
The £100 Mr. Hernandez had given Jesse was covering their immediate needs and putting food on the table without the usual strain. It was plenty enough to last a whole month.
And as for schooling, Victor had gotten Jesse enrolled at The East Manchester Academy in Manchester. He would be starting school there once he arrived in the U.K. and properly got settled in.
