Hou left Hamar to recover, Hamar had accidently become entitled with qi which reacted with his mana based aura and caused some damage that would need time to heal regardless of Armen's help.
He sent Hamar and Armen back to where they were staying with a gateway and opened another for himself.
Hou needed to look at the abilities and spirits he gained from the sun cultivator inner world. He had used a few already but there were still many more.
Sitting floating above his bed, Hou looked into the spirit wills he had from inheriting the inner world. All together there were 15. They could be roughly split into 3 categories, attack, defense and special. In the attack category there was a spirit will to increase strength, one to shoot missiles of qi, one to create slashes and one that pushed things away.
Then in the defence category, there was one that created an isolated space one could change a law in, but applied to all parties. Such as gravity is sideways and such, it may not do everything, and depends on the power of the user and enemy how much it effects those in.
There was another that transformed the user illusory, unable to be damaged but conversely cannot physically manipulate anything.
The third defence spirit was very similar to one Hou had already used, it was the original form of the false spirit will Hou had gotten. The one that created an invisible barrier, while it could be used as attack Hou categorised it as Defence.
Then there were the special category with 8 different wills. They all did things that while they could be used for attack or defense Hou felt was better used in non combat scenarios. Of course that did not apply to all of them, such as the second sun which had great attack and special uses.
However, Hou didn't discount the use of these special wills in battle since he could combine them, using two spirits to create one effect.
This was One thing he needed to do for the next few years of training to get ready to fight the cultivator. If he only used spirits purely, he would be at a significant disadvantage. Spirits show their full potential when they are used together to form even bigger effects.
For example, Hou had already thought of one combination attack. Hou envisioned it in his mind, using the sun as the base, he could compress it with the invisible barrier and use it with an attack spirit to create a compressed sunlight attack. It would become very hot and have much energy.
But this was all in theory, in practice it might not be so easy and it might need changing and tweaking. Not only that spirits didn't do one thing exactly. They had main abilities but they could do many more adjacent abilities. This was what the false spirit wills had taught Hou, and confirmed with Yue.
Taking for example, the mountain spirit Hou had. It could create mountains but it also did more than that, through thorough testing with false spirit wills Hou found the different Dao parts it contained allowed it to make different effects.
The mountain spirit could also attach Hou or other people into he ground, giving them immense strength but low mobility. Like mountains, they drew their stability from underground. The mountain spirit was much more versatile but these effects would not be as strong as the main more simple effect.
Hou stopped thinking and oversizing his new spirits and went to sleep, tomorrow would be the day the sect is officially established.
The next day, Hou woke up and had breakfast with Arm before being brought before Sacrarium's residents.
"You all might not recognise me, but I am Saviour!"
Gasps arose from the crowd even shouts that that cannot be true. Arm, in seeing this, stepped forward and gave his pledge,
"This man is Saviour, he has returned from the future to give us new hope! I do assure you, all is well."
"As Arm said, I've come to help you all, I am still the Saviour you know. I do want to help. My new name is Hou, that is my family name from now on Arm shall be known as Arm Hou. My individual name shall only be known by my close compatriots. As you can see, I have given you land, safety and sunlight. From now on you are under the protection of the Hou sect!"
Cheers slowly started to rise.
"There will be changes, there will be no guards for monsters, only for civil matters! There is farmland, you will be given an appropriate amount each and do as you wish with it. I hope these changes will go smooth and you all are safe."
With that Hou bowed at the audience amongst cheers.
Hou turned around leaving the stage,
"Good job Zhigong, you did well" Arm said to Hou, using his given name. Hou was not used to this, he had been keeping it secret, waiting until he had someone like family to call him that.
Hou had once told Hamar his given name, insisting he called him so. But Hamar was still stubborn and continued calling him Sir Hou regardless.
Arm was the closest thing to a father he had and so told him last time about his name and how he wished for Arm to also inherit his name.
Hou went away, to the guards posts to talk with Penn about the administration.
"Penn, it is good to see you my friend, how are you?"
"I'm good Sir, but let's focus on administration. How about we search for anyone who is not in skilled work already and assign them as farming families? Give them land, make them houses and have them live out in the fields?"
"That sounds fine with me, make sure they still have access to the town though. Have roads connecting everywhere, and public transport. There should be carriages that anyone can ride on for free. That trio should do, they still train their wolves everyday, I'm sure they could pull some carriages all day."
"Perfect, and should we implement currency again?"
"Hmmm, yes..."
The two talked about the aminstration and governance of the town for the rest of the day. It was hard work setting up a whole society.
