The Forsaken One, an ancient enemy, threatens their existence, leading to a climactic battle. In a desperate act to protect her child, Cassia sacrifices herself, erasing her from history but leaving Kael and their child behind. 

 

Haunted by her absence, Kael becomes obsessed with finding a way to bring Cassia back. He learns of the Void, a realm where souls are trapped and performs a forbidden ritual to reach her. Meanwhile, their child’s powers grow uncontrollable, drawing fear and hostility from both humans and werewolves. 

 

In a final confrontation, Kael chooses to save Cassia over his child, and with their combined strength, they defeat the Forsaken One. After the battle, the family disappears from history, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered as the legend of Cassia, the Last Lumerian, and Kael, the Alpha King who defied fate. Their child's future remains uncertain, holding the potential to shape the supernatural world.

Even though I was not exactly interested in what was going on, I cannot deny that the festivities were action-packed. 


I was watching as if I was in a circus. In fact, I know I threw in one or two laughs because of how interesting the display was. 


While I was watching the play, I noticed that Lady Selene could not get her eyes off me. I naturally took it for her usual gloating anyway. Besides, she was sitting right beside Lord Darius, so if there was any time she was fit to gloat at me, it was now. 


Also, did I not hear them announce her as the Supreme Luna? Certainly, Lady Selene was looking at me to mock me. 


But that was not the issue and little did I know. 


''Princess, here. You've not had anything since you got here,'' one of the servants working at the banquet suddenly stopped and gave me a glass of wine.
