Chapter 206 - Chapter 206: The Aftermath

As the meeting concluded, Jr instructed Tod to move Madam Rose to a darker, more secure room. The goal was to keep her isolated and prevent any potential accomplices from knowing her whereabouts.

Meanwhile, Jr and the others began discussing the next steps in their operation. President Carter agreed to reach out to the leaders of the countries where the human trafficking ring operated, while Jr and the Hamptons focused on gathering evidence to bring the perpetrators to justice.

The raid on the human trafficking locations was a success, with the military men rescuing dozens of girls who had been held captive. However, the operation also revealed the horrific extent of the abuse and torture that these girls had suffered. 300 girls had been killed, and many others had been tortured.

The rescued girls were rushed to hospitals, where they received medical attention and care. President Carter, Inspectorate Gibson, Hampton the First, and Jr watched from a distance, ensuring that the operation remained secret to avoid alerting any remaining perpetrators.

As the operation concluded, the culprits were taken to a private government underground facility. President Carter emphasized the need for solid evidence to catch the officials behind the human trafficking ring. Jr agreed, and they planned to work on gathering evidence the next day.

After the meeting, Jr headed to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. As he opened the fridge, he was startled by Bella, who was also getting water. They exchanged a brief, surprised glance before Jr smiled and greeted her.

The kitchen was quiet, except for the hum of the refrigerator. Jr and Bella stood there for a moment, enjoying the cool water and the peaceful atmosphere.

Jr's mind, however, was still preoccupied with the events of the day. He couldn't shake off the images of the rescued girls and the perpetrators who had subjected them to such horrors. He felt a deep sense of anger and determination, knowing that he had to do everything in his power to bring the perpetrators to justice.

As he looked at Bella, he felt grateful for her presence in his life. She was his rock, his source of strength and comfort. He knew that he could face any challenge as long as she was by his side.

The moment was brief, but it was enough to give Jr a sense of peace. He finished his water, smiled at Bella, and headed to his bedroom, determined to see justice served and to bring an end to the human trafficking ring.
