The child appeared again. He appeared in the same way he had disappeared.
"Getting on well, Hyung?" he asked me.
"Yes." I did not know myself, to be honest.
"Listen, is this the afterlife?" I asked him. I did not expect a clear answer from a child like him but I had been wondering about something.
Maybe this was the afterlife. Maybe this was heaven. Maybe this is what lay in my fate until my soul would be reincarnated into another human being.
"I don't know what you mean by afterlife, Hyung." he pouted and crossed his arms.
"I just came here to ask you a question." he continued.
"What is it?" I asked, frustrated because of the kid's vague answers.
"What is your favourite novel which you have written?"
"So you even know this, but you don't know the meaning of afterlife?" I asked him.
"I don't. What is your favourite novel which you have written?" he asked me again.
I should not be angry with a kid. As a big brother, I should humour him. I can't expect a five year old boy to know answers to philosophical questions.
"Let me think" I said.

He did not reply and disappeared somewhere again...
