Mirelah;
My heels click as Azra, Meadow, and I make our way to the front of the castle. I watch in silence as the servants load the last of Father's belongings into the carriage, and just at the side is the Varkaine family. I know only a few of them are here because they want to be.
The rest are just here to fulfil formalities, and so they don't look bad in the eyes of other families, but honestly, I couldn't care less. As long as they aren't misbehaving towards my family, I'm fine.
I stare at my father and sisters with pride swelling in my guts. Father exudes so much grace and authority effortlessly. And with my eldest sisters on both sides of him… make an even more glorious sight to behold.
They look like a force that's to be revered. And I love it. How much grace Seraphina carries, and how much authority flows through Veylira. Even the casual flick of her wrist is done with so much easy poise, it is difficult not to want to look up to her.
