Jax looked up and saw something standing on the beach in front of him. A figure that looked human, but massive, and translucent. Long white hair. A long white beard. A presence filled his head like thunder and a vision flashed in his mind. Pickle barked, and when Jax opened his eyes again the figure was gone. But he had seen plenty.
Jax was still sitting with his guitar on the deck of the beach house, overlooking the sea when Della, Alexander, and Merrick exploded on to the deck, shouting about something in a picture on Merrick's phone.
In the picture, you could see the translucent figure, the flash from the camera made it glow. It showed an apparition, with a lower half looking like it was made of wispy white smoke, and the top half a man with long white hair and beard and white glowing eyes.
