Year 1519 of the World Timeline Calendar

(About half a year before Luffy sets sail.)

Sky Island – Sanctuary [Upper Yard], Shrine

"Lord God, are you awake? Dawn has arrived, and the angels have prepared breakfast~"

A soft, gentle voice broke the morning silence.

Hikaru stirred awake, slowly opening his eyes with a satisfied expression. As he turned to the side, a delicate and playful face entered his field of vision. Large, bright eyes blinked at him mischievously.

She had a charming and beautiful face, golden hair shining under the morning light, styled into two braids that curved upward, their ends shaped into neat little balls.

"Good morning, Conis," Hikaru greeted, reaching out to gently stroke her golden hair.

"Good morning to you too, God-sama."

At his words, Conis' eyes curved into crescent moons as she smiled. She reached out and tapped the small golden bell beside her, sending a pleasant chime echoing through the shrine.

Moments later, six angelic maids entered in an orderly fashion, setting a grand feast on the dining table in the living room.

After helping Hikaru dress, Conis led him to the table.

The angel maids stood nearby, taking turns feeding him as he enjoyed the meal, his face showing pure satisfaction. By now, he was completely accustomed to such divine treatment.

As he watched Conis sitting beside him, chewing her food slowly and elegantly, Hikaru fell into deep thought.

That's right—he was a transmigrator, brought into this world under extraordinary circumstances.

Unlike ordinary soul travelers who merely inhabited new bodies, his entire physical form had been transported here. This meant his body structure was fundamentally different from the natives of the One Piece world.

Because of this, training his body to increase his physical strength was far less effective than it was for the people born in this world.

Fortunately, he possessed the Goro Goro no Mi, the Thunder Fruit, which allowed him to use lightning to temper his body.

Even so, he had been waiting for his so-called system to activate. Yet no matter how long he waited, there was no "ding" or notification.

Left with no choice, he continued ruling over Sky Island. Along the way, he unexpectedly formed a marriage bond with the beautiful Conis. Their time together brought an unexpected surprise—he could feel his body gradually growing stronger.

After much research, he discovered that this phenomenon only occurred with Conis. He speculated that this ability was triggered by interacting with a female lead or an important supporting character.

So far, with Conis' assistance, he had managed to awaken basic Armament Haki.

However, his Haki was nowhere near as strong as his Thunder Fruit powers. Still, it was useful in battle, especially when fighting Logia users who relied on their elemental abilities. A well-timed Armament Haki strike could catch them completely off guard.

The Reason Behind His Transmigration

Some might wonder—how did Hikaru end up in this world?

To answer that, let's rewind a little…

Hikaru had just retired from his career as the King of Killers and was relaxing at home, sitting comfortably in his gaming chair. He was watching One Piece, specifically the battle between Luffy and Kaido in Wano.

As he watched Luffy perform sit-ups repeatedly, eventually awakening as Sun God Nika, he was dumbfounded.

"What? Awakening? Sun God Nika? Just like that? The rubber kid is gone?"

Disbelief filled him. He felt like yet another childhood anime had been ruined.

Just as he was about to turn off the screen, a mesmerizing female voice echoed in his ears:

"Hikaru, do you wish to immerse yourself in the world of One Piece?"

He assumed it was just his imagination. But before he could react, an invisible force suddenly pulled him forward.

A dark vortex appeared before him, swallowing him whole.

In that brief moment, he vaguely saw three dazzling lights rushing into his body before everything went black.

When he woke up, he found himself in a confined space, lying on top of something round. A strange sense of panic settled in.

Looking around, he spotted a white jade table in the distance, covered in apples. Crawling forward, he glanced back at where he had been lying—only to realize that the "ball" beneath him was actually someone's head.

A young man with a white turban, flared pants, long earlobes, and a bare chest lay beneath him. Drums adorned his back.

The unique appearance made it instantly clear—this was Enel.

And Hikaru had crushed him to death.

(The residual space-time energy from the transmigration ignored elementalization.)

Hikaru soon discovered something remarkable—he could generate lightning and even transform into lightning itself.

There was no doubt about it—he had plundered Enel's Thunder Fruit ability.

Though momentarily confused, Hikaru had read enough time-travel novels to adapt quickly.

On Sky Island, no one could use Armament Haki, making this a dream start for him. With the invincible power of the Thunder Fruit, he easily conquered the island, bringing it under his rule.

However, the former God of Skypiea, Gan Fall, refused to submit. He attempted to take advantage of the transition of power, rallying the islanders to rebel against their new ruler.

How could Hikaru tolerate such defiance?

Without hesitation, he sent Gan Fall to meet Enel in the afterlife.

Before dealing with him, Hikaru electrocuted Pierre, Gan Fall's mount, leaving it unconscious. Seeing how he had inherited Enel's fruit, he began to wonder—could he steal other Devil Fruits as well?

Determined to test this theory, he experimented relentlessly. Finally, he succeeded—using white lightning, he extracted the Mama Mama no Mi, transferred it into a new fruit, and stored it safely in his collection room.

With Conis by his side, Hikaru conducted another crucial experiment. He immersed himself in a bathtub filled with White Sea water and discovered something shocking—he was not weakened at all.

This confirmed his suspicion. His body was not originally from this world, so he was not bound by the typical drawbacks of a Devil Fruit user.

Two Years Later—Sky Island Under His Rule

Two years passed under Hikaru's reign, yet the Ark Maxim had not been completed. This meant that Luffy had yet to arrive, giving him more time to hone his abilities.

(These two years were primarily spent mastering his Devil Fruit powers and improving his physique.)

As Hikaru sat at his grand dining table, an angel servant approached him respectfully.

"Lord God, the Shandia warriors submitted their official letter of surrender yesterday. They now await your orders."

Hikaru, uninterested in his meal, casually waved his hand.

"Tell Shura to meet me at the palace."

Shura, Satori, Ohm, and Gedatsu had once served Enel as his Four Priests. Under Enel's rule, they had been mentally unstable due to his extreme oppression.

However, with Enel gone, their condition had improved significantly.

As a former King of Killers, Hikaru understood how to control subordinates. Using expert psychological manipulation and absolute power, he forced the Four Priests into submission. Now, they served him with unwavering loyalty.

Unlike the Shandians, the people of Sky Island were weak-willed. The change of gods was not something they could fight against. They could only pray for a merciful ruler and accept their fate.

The Shandians, however, were warriors—proud and unyielding. But as long as they didn't attack Upper Yard, Hikaru had no reason to waste time on them. His priority was becoming stronger.

To him, whether Sky Islanders or Shandians, they were all valuable laborers. Every death was a waste of resources.

Instead of fighting them head-on, he allowed time to do the work for him. He developed Sky Island, ensuring his people lived in comfort while the Shandians struggled. Over time, the Shandians would grow jealous, realizing that submission was the only way to improve their lives.

And just as expected, they finally came.

Upper Yard – The Royal Palace

Inside the grand hall, the Shandia Chief stood at attention, his expression calm yet tense.

Beside him, the powerful warrior Wyper waited in silence.

That's right—Hikaru was not just the God of Skypiea.

He was also the Emperor of the Heavens.
