The timer didn't stop "why, why?" Ryu seo-yi looked everywhere but saw nothing that could help with the mission,ten seconds left and still there was nothing to help. "Time for some extra magic." Spider thread personia. Ryu used a very unique personia this was a technique which manifests thin spider like threads which are very sturdy and durable. He used the spider threads to pull down the timer breaking it down with only 3 seconds left
By the time the timer crashed to the ground Ryu seo-yi made a weird stance which showed that he pulled the timer with all of his strength, but this stance was followed the the words " assimilated" these words were also backed up with a creepy grin. "The timer stopped which means the hostages are safe." These words didn't sit well with the hero who was acting as the examiner " how can you say that?" Ryu seo-yi smiled and said " I found a new way to save the hostages, so my mission is complete" the examiner was lost for words so he decided to make him a hero but in order to become an official hero, the people have to judge him to see if he's worthy. Ryu had to do good deeds all around so that people will notice him which was harder than you'd think.
In this world almost everyone is a hero and each and everyone one of them has their different personias which are very powerful. Since the world is overrun with heroes it's rare for villains and criminals to show themselves.
Personias are unique techniques passed down from your ancestors or the manifestation of your interests to reality, so if you are infatuated with a villain that has blue flames as their quirk then you'll most likely get the same blue flames personia. Every one has their personia including villains and criminals.
Ryu seo-yi on his way home saw how peaceful the city is and that at the current rate criminals and villains will cease to exist " who cares I can now be a hero!!!" Ryu returned home to his one room apartment which he shares with his mother, a self employed woman whose about to reach the age of the elderly, this would be the motivation that Ryu moves on. Ryu wants to make a lot of money in the very short time he has with his mother, to give her the life she couldn't attain for herself. Ryu also has a dream to fall in love with a girl and give her the time of her life, he believes that he's the only true perfect man,a girl would love to have, but in order to be truly perfect he has to attain the status of NOBLE NOVE a great status to have, the only way to reach this high standard, one must amount a lot of money without wasting 14 hours of they're day working in order to receive remuneration at the end. The amount of money you have to attain doesn't matter that much as long as the amount of money you attained is far greater than any person your age would make e.g a newborn wouldn't make 500 ders ( this world currency) but if one would do that he'll attain the status of Noble Nove.
Ryu seo-yi told his mom about this and mom was very happy. The next day Ryu returned to school on his way he didn't notice a single hero in sight which was very strange. At school it seems like the majority became heroes the very same day as Ryu seo-yi even though he remembered being the only one there. The other kids were gossiping about the criminal that entered the hero examination grounds and managed to destroy the timer. Ryu soon heard this and he was very curious why they'd call him a villain even if they didn't know who it was that broke the timer. "Haha a criminal they say." The classes continued when the ground started to quake multiple times, but was very strange.
On his way home a huge bird like creature flew above the city. This creature had wings that covered the whole city, as everyone stared at the heavens they were shocked lost in wonder. " what the hell is is happening?" A brand new species of birds was discovered, as soon as the bird passed advertising billboards suddenly turned on the news which was all over the world. " ladies and gentlemen plus the other genders we regret to inform you that creatures we call demons, are real...." the lady was immediately attacked by a humanoid being.
" we are all going to fight" Ryu seo-yi said these words right the feed was cut off and a new broadcast was running. This broadcast showed a what seems like a deserted city in which all the heroes of the city were fighting these so called demons. It was very clear that the heroes were incapable of keeping the enemy forces away.
"It about time, young heroes join the battlefield to gain instant hero status this is your time to shine" said the reporter who was filming the war between heroes and demons.
"What a clever ploy, 10 billion points to you reporter" Ryu said these exact words while grinning like the demons he had to fight in the future.
The ground was shaking but this time it was the civilians running to safety obviously Ryu was in that crowd scared to hell.
" what idiots" a group of humanoids were ontop of the tall building looking down on the scared idiots called civilians. One humanoid decided to fly down to kill some of the humans.
"Found you" the humanoid caught Ryu our lovely strange grinning boy.
" what's with that grin? Are you one of us or what?"
Ryu immediately denied it and tried to release himself from the tight grips of this humanoid
"Hey boss what should i do with this one ? He seems not to realize he's a demon"
