Chapter 41: Eryx's Devotion
"Oh please, don't tease me," Eryx replied calmly, taking a spoon and beginning to eat.
The woman looked at her son and smiled beautifully, then sat down opposite him, secretly sending the picture to her phone before handing it back to him.
"Tell mummy, do you like this girl?" she inquired.
Eryx didn't respond and continued eating, his expression calm. But if anyone had been paying close attention, they would have noticed the excited glint in his eyes. Of course, his mother didn't miss it.
She laughed. "Finally, I'm going to have a daughter-in-law, haha!" she exclaimed joyfully.
"Tell me, which family gave birth to such a beauty? I'll arrange a proposal to them immediately."
Eryx shook his head. "Nope. Her family is one kind of trash I want to wipe out. She's alone," he answered coldly.
