Einar vs. Hagrid
A furious Hagrid lunged at Einar, raising his massive hands to catch him. However, Einar reacted just as quickly, locking hands with Hagrid. At that moment, a thunderous impact echoed through the surroundings, shaking the ground like a rumbling storm.
Despite the vast difference in size, Hagrid pushed with all his might... but Einar didn't budge an inch. Instead, the ground beneath his feet began to crack under the immense pressure of both forces.
"Come on, harder!" Einar exclaimed excitedly.
Without letting go of his grip, he freed one hand and delivered a powerful punch to Hagrid's face. The blow sent the half-giant stumbling back several steps, but he shook himself off and quickly recovered, retaliating with a direct punch to Einar's stomach.
"Harder! That didn't even tickle," Einar mocked before landing another punch.
Hagrid growled and threw another punch with all his strength, roaring furiously:
"Aaaaaaah!"
This time, the impact forced Einar to step back.
"That's what I want to see! Show me that strength, great giant!" Einar shouted, thrilled.
The battle intensified. Each blow echoed like thunder, sometimes sending them both flying. They fought without holding back, pushing each other to the limit, wide grins of adrenaline and excitement stretching across their faces.
Hagrid didn't even realize that the fury spell affecting him had long since worn off. He was no longer fighting out of rage but for the sheer thrill of testing himself against a worthy opponent.
Suddenly, he grabbed one of the enormous logs used for training and swung it with all his might, smashing it against Einar. The impact was so great that the log exploded into countless splinters.
However, in the heat of battle, neither of them noticed that they were dangerously approaching Hogwarts.
At some point, Einar tore off his mask, as it was starting to get in the way. His face, illuminated with exhilaration, contrasted with the violence of the fight.
Hagrid tried to attack again but tripped over a rock and fell. Einar didn't waste the opportunity"he grabbed him by the leg, spun him several times in the air, and then hurled him with all his strength.
From a distance, a wizard with a magical eye watched the scene in disbelief. He couldn't believe it. Those two weren't fighting with magic but with sheer brute force… and they were causing more destruction than any magical duel.
...….
Meanwhile, inside Hogwarts, students were casually heading to the Great Hall for breakfast. Some heard distant noises but paid no attention, assuming it was just castle repairs.
Until, suddenly, a massive body crashed through the Great Hall's wall, sending debris flying everywhere.
Silence reigned for a few seconds. Everyone stood frozen, staring at Hagrid sprawled on the ground. Then, their eyes shifted to the gaping hole in the wall… and they saw him.
A young man strode in from the courtyard, a grin on his face. His skin was covered in scars, his sculpted muscles were exposed to the air, and a thin trickle of blood ran from his split lip.
"You flew pretty far, Hagrid! Hahaha!" Einar laughed as he entered the Great Hall, the ground trembling slightly under his steps.
The students stared at him in awe, but soon, their shock turned into disbelief. That voice… they recognized it!
It was none other than their Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.
At that moment, McGonagall stormed in, her face red with fury.
"STOP THIS AT ONCE, YOU TWO!"
Hagrid, still in a battle trance, suddenly snapped back to reality. He looked around at the state of the Great Hall… and an overwhelming sense of shame washed over him.
Einar, on the other hand, was still exhilarated.
"You can't stop a battle of friendship!" he protested.
McGonagall clenched her fists, her patience hanging by a thread.
"For Merlin's sake! You two are professors! How can you be fighting like a pair of barbarians?"
Einar let out a roaring laugh.
"Not like barbarians… like true Nords! Hahaha!"
The castle trembled with his laughter, and McGonagall rubbed her forehead in exasperation.
"Professor Einar, your mask!" Hermione shouted from the crowd.
Einar blinked, remembering he had lost it during the fight.
"Oh, right. My bad."
He pulled one out from his bag and put it on without looking.
The entire Great Hall fell into absolute silence.
The students watched in horror at Einar's new mask. Some paled. Others began to tremble. And a few… simply fainted on the spot.
McGonagall closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She was going to need a cup of tea. Or two.
Einar realized what had happened as he removed the mask and saw that it was Miraak's. He immediately understood that it could be terrifying for the weaker wizards.
Quickly, he replaced it with a more "normal" one, though his excitement from the battle had diminished considerably. Still, Einar was very happy.
"Rubeus Hagrid, we have fought to prove our worth, and now I offer you my respect and my friendship! Our weapons have clashed, but our hearts have understood each other! I swear that from this day forth, our friendship shall be an alliance of honor, and our loyalty, a bond of blood! To those who dare to challenge us, I promise that our blade shall be their shadow, and our vengeance, their fate! Let the battle we have waged be the foundation of our brotherhood, and let our friendship be the greatest victory of all!"
Einar's thunderous speech echoed throughout the Great Hall, reaching even the farthest corridors of Hogwarts. Everyone present, both inside and outside the hall, was left in awe.
Hagrid felt a bit embarrassed by Einar's words, but at the same time, a warm happiness filled his heart.
"You two, follow me," McGonagall ordered, still furious, as she waved her wand to repair the devastation caused by the battle.
The students in the Great Hall, seeing the collapsed wall and the scale of the destruction, couldn't help but feel both astonished and exhilarated.
The boys, in particular, were fascinated. Who wouldn't want to have a battle like that with their best friend to prove their worth? Meanwhile, the girls showed a different kind of interest"their eyes were fixed on Einar's uncovered face, admiring his imposing physique. Even his scars seemed to enhance his allure.
Shortly after, McGonagall scolded them both, and somehow, they were quickly let off the hook.
"How did it feel to show your true strength?" Einar asked with interest as he walked alongside Hagrid.
"To be honest, it was refreshing… but let's not do it again. We could destroy the castle," Hagrid replied, a bit worried.
"Of course, next time we'll find a more suitable place," Einar said casually before bidding farewell to find something to eat.
Remembering the location of the kitchens, he headed straight there.
Upon arriving, he tickled the pear on the painting, which immediately turned into a door, allowing him to enter.
As soon as he stepped inside, he saw strange creatures running back and forth, almost making him draw his sword. However, he quickly realized they were house-elves, like the one he had seen at the Quidditch match, though here, there were many more.
"Master wizard! How can we serve you?" one of the elves asked excitedly, while the others watched Einar attentively.
"Just give me a couple of snacks to go," Einar requested.
Upon hearing his request, the elves hurried to bring him a massive assortment of food. Without hesitation, Einar accepted everything. After all, his appetite was considerable.
As he was about to return to his office, he noticed a confrontation between the Golden Trio and a blond boy named Draco Malfoy. At one point, after being insulted, Harry decided to ignore him and turned to walk away.
Einar watched in disbelief as Malfoy raised his wand, clearly intending to attack Harry from behind. His eyes darkened with fury.
"Coward! How dare you attack your enemy from behind?!" he roared in anger as he approached Malfoy.
The blond, seeing Einar's expression, began to tremble and nearly wet his pants.
Einar unsheathed his sword in a swift motion. At first glance, the weapon emanated an aura of danger.
Malfoy's legs gave out, and he collapsed to the ground, shaking with fear.
"Here, Harry," Einar said as he handed him the sword. "You have the right to pierce his heart in a duel to the death for such cowardice."
Harry, shocked, instinctively took the sword. As soon as he did, the blade began to crackle with arcs of electricity, sparking around him. Even his body seemed enveloped in an electric field, though it did not harm him.
With just one look, Malfoy knew that if that sword touched him, his suffering would be indescribable. Terrified, he started crawling backward, trying to get away from Harry as quickly as possible.
"I don't want a duel! No!" he screamed in fear, as all the students in the courtyard watched.
"Professor Einar!" McGonagall shouted as she rushed over. "Please take back your sword! We do not have duels to the death here."
"Of course we do," Einar responded with a frown. "Throughout this school's history, there have been multiple duels to the death to defend one's honor and beliefs. This boy dared to attack a fellow student from behind. That is reason enough to challenge him."
"Not within the school grounds," McGonagall said firmly. "If Mr. Malfoy accepts a duel with Potter, they may find a more appropriate place."
Malfoy, without a second of hesitation, exclaimed in a trembling voice:
"I do not accept any duel!"
His cowardice was exposed before all the students, who now looked at him with ridicule. He had completely lost the respect of his peers.
"You heard him, Professor," McGonagall said, looking at Malfoy with disdain. "He has refused, thus dishonoring his family. I hope that is enough for you."
Einar snorted in contempt.
"Hmph. As long as I am a professor, I don't want that vermin setting foot in my classroom," he declared coldly.
His hatred for the Malfoy family was already considerable because of what his father had done. And now, seeing that his son was the same filth, it was best to keep him far from any of his teachings.
With that, he gestured for Harry and then walked away without another word.
