Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: The Plan For What?

I was in a lab, watched in awe by scientists who analyzed me, my armor, and weapons. They took a sample of my blood using a syringe with Ichor. My blood was black, acidic, and hot. I was measured at 230 degrees Fahrenheit. Why was Ochor my weakness on earth, and yet I had the same fluid running through me? Surprisingly, I asked them and they had an answer. They told me only the blood of dead deities can harm me. Then how do they know any of that? It was because they tested the blood from Callith's corpse, and it was one of the fluids they used on me, and it worked. But never when I was alive. I only explained a little bit.

The Commander came with protection and brought me to a room with Ryoth's body. "So, this is where the harvest is at. His blood just keeps coming back like an infinite pouring source. We found out that this stuff can be used as eco-friendly energy. One Gallon can power half of a city for years. Better start this world's new revolution to free energy."

I wasn't against it at all, but I didn't like the fact that they kept the Specmin-42, which can kill me. Perhaps it was just in case they thought I would turn on the world. Even if it did kill me, that wouldn't be permanent. They still had nothing to worry about staying on my good side. "So, what was that black dragon jet all about? Seems like it is based on something, care to explain?"

Commander-. "Indeed, it is. That thing is designed to go deep underwater and into space. Can hold back heavy artillery and a big tank force. Flies at Mach speed, too. You like it?"

I did bring out some faults of my design, but. "I think you did a great job, the whole name is cool too."

Commander-. "Well, which name do you prefer? L-43, or the Black Dragon?"

I thought both were pretty cool, but since ot was military, I thought they should keep it called L-43.

As time passed, I cleared out all the orbs they had in store. The universe was safe once again. The Commander came into the large hangar with Zillion. He was inside a dark-blue, metal, high-tech suit with rail guns. He fired them into the sky. The plasma hit a metal cube, melting it instantly like butter. "What do you think of this big boy. It's called the X-Zillion 0.1. Designed it myself."

Commander-. "And about that mission, Leon. I need you to go to the sun and place this device around it. This will make a Dyson-Sphere."

He showed me multiple large metal Icosahedrons. There were probably 30 of them. He opened the largest door I had ever seen in any of the dimensions I had been to. On the other side was a deep, dark pit with a massive rocket. The rocket was a titan compared to the biggest ones we have today. I was guessing I had to control it as I was going to be so close to the Sun.

Commander-. "You will carry these 30 Dyson fragments into the rocket and take them to the sun. They will spread out around the sun an equal distance at a speed of around 147 kilometers per hour. Then you will use the escape pod to return here on Earth. After that, we have unlimited energy for the planet until the sun burns out. Are you in on this plan?"

I still couldn't understand how long and mutch resources they had to build into this. This has got to take at least 50 years to build. The amount of fuel to lift this thing off the ground and into the air is impossible. "How the hell are we getting it close to the sun? Won't it just melt?

Commander-. "That is why we have you and your powers. Sure, this will melt, but as you get there, you need to activate them all by pressing this button. We won't be able to reach your communications after 130 million kilometers. Until then, you have just given humanity a new eco-friendly stage."

Zillion-. "Not only that, but you will be known as a hero for your work."

The idea was good, and they seemed to know what they were doing. I decide to take the mission and nod with respect. "Just one thing. I don't seek attention as a heroic type. Keep that in mind, will you? Oh, and one thing before takeoff. I might not return for a while. After this, I am heading back to my Void, because I still have more important work to do for the Omniverse."

Commander-. "Then let's get her moving. She is called the Faith and will be remembered for her first and last flight. Ok, open up the doors and run the systems, it's time to start the expedition."

I walk on the bridge to the rocket. In front of me opened a massive airlock door opened. I climbed a ladder to the Cockpit and was told what I needed to press to get ready. There was a lever beside where I sat. I was told to pull it when they said it was time. This will power all the fuel needed to launch into space and the sun. There would be remaining energy for the escape pod to head back to Earth, not that I need to anyway. All the doors closed, and I was fastened to the chair facing the sky. Then the countdown started. "Lift off will be in T-Minus 60 seconds."

The Commander got online with the communications. "I wish you the best of luck."

System-. "Lift off will be in T-Minus 43 seconds."

Commander-. "So what are your plans after this, Leon? Are you going to return to the earth sometime soon?"

I wasn't like I wasn't ever going to return, I just wanted to get out there and build connections. "I don't know, maybe just meet new beings, people. I wonder if I will see another universe out there. Maybe check out some books from Webnovel, you should check it out."

System-. "Lift off will be in T-Minus 16 seconds."

Commander-. "Thank you for being willing to participate in this expedition. We all give our thanks to you, Leon."

System-. "Lift of will be in T-Minus 10-9-8-7."

I say one last word before I go. "I wish humanity the best of luck."

System-. "3-2-1…Rocket of ready for Launch. Please pull he red lever to your right."

I pull the lever and the next thing I feel I a large jolt of force as the engines fire off the ground. I felt so much G-Force pushing me into the metal of the seat. Everything had to be made of metal to last in the extreme heat of the Sun. I waited for quite a while and rested my eyes.

I woke up and looked at the time tracker. 3 months have passed. I guess I can sleep for a long while. But it was the heat that woke me. I was so close to the sun. The metal around me was even red hot.

System-. "You are awake just a week late in time to activate the Dyson sphere. These 30 Dyson fragments will fuse hydrogen from the sun into all the resources from available solar panels to self-constrain the entire sphere. Please tell me when you would like access to press the button and activate the Dyson sphere."

It was time to start things back up again. Just had to see if this would work. "Yes, please. I would like access to the button."

System-. "Access confirmed. Just press now and you will be launched away in the escape pod back towards Earth in just 14 hours."

I pressed it, and the ship opened up the cargo bay doors, letting out the Dyson fragments. They all went away in the blink of an eye. I assume they were already assembling. Then I was on my way back as the rest of the rockets' materiel went with the Dyson fragments to save materials for energy build-up.

System-. "The mission was a success. Now heading to Sagittarius A. Playing saved message from…Zillion; Hello, Leon. Now I know this might be confusing, but I may have programmed this AI to set course to a Black-Hole. Before you think we were all in on this, no. I am behind it all, you see, I don't like freaks. Especially murderers. Enjoy your final moment left deserted alone once again. Zillion out."

I smiled, not because I knew this wouldn't kill me. But I suspected someone out there was still against me. I guess it isn't worth going back to Earth anyway. There is an infinite number of universes out there, and only one is perfect for me.
