"It doesn't matter. We should help him since he sounds like in a lot of trouble," Deimos said, urging Kratos to interfere, but Kratos was not budging, knowing that Kratos would not help unless the creature was on his way. Deimos just ran towards the shout, leaving Kratos and Atreus.
"Deimos," Kratos called out, but Deimos just kept running, with Atreus following immediately. Kratos, without any choice, just followed when he arrived at the scene. Kratos just sees his two sons harassing a 9 headed creatures that looked eerily similar to the Hydra he encountered before, but it has 2 arms at the front, and a feline like face, with 1 snake like body connecting the 9 heads, it was huge, almost covering the entire room that was also huge.
Deimos, who arrived first, saw Brok being attacked by the creature. He immediately summoned his Bow to attack one of the heads that was attacking Brok, killing the head immediately. Brok then runs towards Deimos and Atreus, who arrived just a moment ago, then both brothers kept firing their arrows, with Deimos killing the heads in one hit, but it kept reviving. Kratos then arrived and saw the scene.
"Father, it kept reviving itself, I know for a fact that I already killed some of the heads," Deimos said to Kratos, noticing that Kratos had arrived since he was the most experienced hunter, and Deimos then did not hesitate to ask for advice, not having any options.
"I would lift my restrictions, you can use your full power and you can generate any weapon you can," Kratos then said towards Deimos, knowing that the creature in front of them is a tough match, Deimos, who heard Kratos' words, just smiled, thinking a new weapon to generate, it did not took long for Deimos to decide.
'MISERY' Deimos thought, summoning a giant cleaver with 9 blades, one for each head of the creature, carrying it in the handle, Deimos swung his blades, attacking every head at the same time, killing multiple heads at once.
Kratos just looked at the weapon that Deimos generated, it was nothing he had ever seen before, and from the look of the blue dwarf, he also did not think about this kind of weapon, making Kratos wonder, where would he get the idea to generate this kind of weapon, but know that this is not the time, since if the creature have similarities towards the original hydra, the last head would be immortal, and spew poisonous air.
'Is it over?' Deimos thought, changing his weapon back to a normal sword and observing the creature. Since the soul still had not come out, a growl suddenly resonated from the creature. There was a regenerating head that spewed poison toward them while regenerating its other head.
Deimos seeing this started to think more, remembering how Hercales killed the hydra, recalling that Heracles cauterized its head before, ensuring that it would not regenerate again, Deimos then changed his weapon form into something similar to the Rhitta, the divine axe, he then channeled his inner rage to release fire all over his body, something that he learned to do while watching Kratos do it when they were fighting against baldur
"RAGHHHH!!!!" Deimos shouted, manifesting his rage towards Rhitta, generating fire in its entirety. Deimos then focused all the fire towards the blade and resumed attacking the creature. One of the heads breathed fire at him, which he dodged before immediately slicing its head.
Kratos, seeing the resemblance between Hydra and this creature, knows that his weapon would be useless, so he freezes the head that was spewing poison, letting Deimos fight the beast, fully believing in his son's strength, which he did not fail. Deimos sees that the trick he did on Rhitta worked, generated the Misery Cleaver back with only 8 blades, and channeled fire again towards 8 blades and slashed them all at once. The moment he slashed it, the soul of the creature left its body and immediately went towards Deimos, pledging its loyalty towards Deimos.
