Chapter Nine
Aurora's POV
I got into my car and drove back home with a lot of questions in my mind trying to find out who he was and why he had so much authority in his voice.
"How did the waitress know his name within an hour of getting to the restaurant?" I asked myself.
After a while, I shook my head, "Well, he's supposed to be known everywhere he steps into since he's a womanizer. Maybe the owner of the company called to warn him about making out with his staffer. Damn! He's in huge trouble," I thought, shrugging my shoulders as I focused on where I was going.
Just a few meters away from home, I checked the time and realized I still had enough time to stay outside, so I picked up my phone and dialed Isla's number, and she immediately picked up at the first ring.
"Where you at, Isla?" I asked.
"Is that how you greet a friend you haven't heard from in two days?" Isla asked.
"I should be the angry one, not you, Isla," I said.
