AT THE SAME TIME
ISABELLA'S POINT OF VIEW:
Before Michael could respond, I noticed the other males, Xavier, Damien, and Adrian, slowly making their way over. Each of them was looking at us, though their expressions were a little different. Xavier's eyes narrowed slightly, a mixture of interest and confusion flickering across his face. Damien and Adrian, however, seemed to be observing us with something closer to amusement.
I could feel Michael's tension rising again, his eyes flashing with protectiveness, but this time it wasn't just for me it was for Vanessa too.
I stepped closer to Michael, sensing his unease, and reached for his hand.
"Relax." I said softly. "We've got this."
Vanessa noticed the way Michael's attention shifted back to me, and her smile widened.
"Oh, look at that. You two are adorable. Don't worry, I won't tease you too much... for now."Vanessa said.
